  • Publication number: 20240274538
Abstract: Methods for forming microelectronic devices include forming a staircase structure in a stack structure having a vertically alternating sequence of insulative and conductive materials arranged in tiers. Steps are at lateral ends of the tiers. Contact openings of different aspect ratios are formed in fill material adjacent the staircase structure, with some openings terminating in the fill material and others exposing portions of the conductive material of upper tiers of the stack structure. Additional conductive material is selectively formed on the exposed portions of the conductive material. The contact openings initially terminating in the fill material are extended to expose portions of the conductive material of lower elevations. Contacts are formed, with some extending to the additional conductive material and others extending to conductive material of the tiers of the lower elevations. Microelectronic devices and systems incorporating such staircase structures and contacts are also disclosed.

Abstract: A standard cell or integrated circuit (IC) structure includes a substrate including a first active region and a second active region. A first gate electrode is over the first active region; and a second gate electrode over the second active region. A trench isolation electrically isolates the first active region and the first gate electrode from the second active region and the second gate electrode. First ends of the first active region and the first gate electrode abut a first sidewall of the trench isolation and first ends of the second active region and the second gate electrode abut a second, opposing sidewall of the trench isolation. • Publication number: 20240273058
Abstract: A domain adaptive systolic-array-processor is presented with 256 programmable cores in a 12 nm CMOS for wireless communication workloads. The domain adaptive processor uses a globally homogeneous but locally heterogeneous architecture, decode-less reconfiguration instructions for data streaming, single-cycle data communication between functional units (FUs), and lightweight nested-loop control. This disclosure shows how configuration flexibility and fast program loading allows a wide range of communication workloads to be mapped and swapped in sub-?s, supporting continually evolving communication standards such as 5G. The domain adaptive processor achieves 507 GMACs/J and a peak performance of 264 GMACs.

  • Patent number: 12054316
Abstract: A cap for a container includes an annular tamper evident band with a generally rigid cylindrical frame having an upper ring and a plurality of ribs extending axially from the ring and spaced circumferentially apart about the ring. A plurality of retainer elements are supported by the frame, each retainer element connected at circumferentially opposed ends by resiliently flexible webs to adjacent ones of the ribs. The retainer elements are biased to a radially contracted position, in which the retainer elements protrude inwardly to engage an underside surface of a neck flange of the container. The retainer elements are movable to a radially expanded position in which the retainer elements can be advanced axially past the neck flange when installing the cap onto the container for the first time.
