  • Publication number: 20240368792
Abstract: Printhead for a 3D manufacturing system that uses metal electrodeposition to construct parts; embodiments utilize a grid of anodes to achieve high quality parts with features that may be small and detailed. To support grids with thousands or millions of anodes, the printhead may use matrix control with row and column drivers similar to display backplanes. Unlike display backplanes where the design goal is to display images using minimal current, the printhead may be optimized for high current density for fast electrodeposition, and for anode longevity. Current density may exceed 1000 mA per cm-squared, at least an order of magnitude greater than that of display backplanes. Anode longevity may be enhanced by using relatively large anodes compared to the grid pitch of the printhead, by lengthening the conductive paths through anodes, or both. Embodiments may be constructed by adding anode and insulation layers on top of matrix-controlled switching circuits.

  • Publication number: 20240372885
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method for generating simulated communication data. A processor trains a model on historical communication data. The model comprises a probability distribution to model time, sender, and recipients and a parameter vector that jointly encodes information from the input event sequence of time value, the sender and the recipients. The probability distribution is based on the parameter vector. The processor generates a collection of simulated communication messages by sampling from the probability distribution to determine a time value, a sender, and recipients of the simulated communication message, wherein the recipients are dependent on the sender of the simulated message. The processor generates a simulated natural language text for the message, which is part of a simulated conversation between the sender and the recipients.

  • Publication number: 20240372657
Abstract: An unsolved problem in 5G-Advanced and especially 6G is message fault mitigation without a costly retransmission. Methods are disclosed for the receiver to analyze each message element's received waveform signal to detect characteristic features of interference and noise, such as excessive amplitude or phase variation within the message element or excessive deviation from the predetermined modulation levels of the modulation scheme, and to provide that data to an AI model trained in message fault correction. The AI model can then identify the faulted message elements, and attempt to correct them according to the likely intent or meaning of the message based on the non-faulted message elements, and on the bit sequences of previously received non-faulted messages, and other criteria that the AI model may apply. By repairing the message upon receipt, the costs in time, transmission power, and background noise generation may be avoided. Next-generation users will enjoy the improved reception.

  • Publication number: 20240372855
Abstract: This application relates to establishing a communication session between a host device and a trusted client device. A host device generates a one-time secret (OTS) and transmits the OTS to a trusted client device via an out-of-band communication channel. The trusted client device verifies an identity of a user of the trusted client device utilizing one or more sensors of the trusted client device. Responsive to verifying the identity of the user, the trusted client device negotiates an encryption key with the host device based on the OTS. The trusted client device then establishes a communication session with the host device utilizing the encryption key. The communication session can be utilized to pass credentials in a protected manner from the trusted client device to the host device that enable the host device to access a user account associated with a service.
