  • Publication number: 20240389143
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to allocation of one or more radio bands to a user equipment (UE) for establishing a radio link with a radio node (e.g., eNodeB or gNodeB). The radio bands may include a shared band, such as citizens band radio service (CBRS), a primary licensed band, such as the B66 band, and/or an unlicensed band, such as B46 band. A radio communications system may consider a variety of parameters associated with the distance of a UE from a radio node, signal strength of a signal from the UE, the services requested by the UE, and/or spectral availability of the each of the radio bands to determine which radio band(s) to allocate to the UE. In some cases, the radio band allocated to a UE may be dynamically changed by the radio communications system as conditions related to the UE and/or the mobile network change.

  • Publication number: 20240382415
Abstract: Salt-based non-therapeutic hygienic formulations or compositions or therapeutic formulations or compositions, for example those rich in calcium, are effective against airborne pathogens, suppressing virus shedding, for instance by increasing a surface viscoelasticity of airway lining fluid. Associated apparatus, methods and articles are used to deliver salt-based non-therapeutic hygienic formulations or compositions as hygienic treatments to the upper respiratory tract. Associated apparatus, methods and articles are used to deliver salt-based therapeutic antimicrobial formulations or compositions to the upper respiratory tract. For example, nasal delivery of calcium-rich salines with aerosol droplet size of around 10 ?m (e.g., 7 ?m-15 ?m, or more preferably 9 ?m-10 ?m) may advantageously limit distribution to the nose and upper airways of the respiratory tract, suppressing bioaerosol generation.

  • Publication number: 20240382214
Abstract: The present technology relates to surgical drilling devices, and associated systems and methods. In some embodiments. a surgical drilling device includes a drill bit and a drill motor. During operation, the drill bit and the drill motor can generate one or more parameters. The parameters can correspond to the drilling behavior of the drill bit, for example, to a type of tissue or a drill bit penetration depth, such that the parameters can be used to create an automatic stop threshold. In some embodiments, the surgical drilling device can be configured to measure one or more of the parameters, and to automatically stop the drill motor based on a comparison of the measured parameter(s) and the automatic stop threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240386315
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a transformer model for journey simulation and prediction. In embodiments described herein, training data is obtained from stored journeys. The training data for each journey indicates customer interactions with each event in the sequence of events of the journey. A machine learning model is trained using the training data to simulate customer interaction with an input journey. The trained machine learning model then generates a simulation of customer interaction with an input journey and the results of the simulation are displayed.
