  • Patent number: 11347367
Abstract: A portable information handling system applies context determined from sensors to selectively configure a display to present either a single user interface for a single user or two separate user interfaces for first and second users. For instance, detection of rotational portions in a flat orientation in proximity of multiple users results in a separate user interface at each rotational portion so that each end user has a user interface to interact with.

  • Publication number: 20220158119
Abstract: A portable information handling system integrates a display film having OLED pixels to a housing with a graphene foam having graphene particles disposed in an intermediary material with varied orientations that promote thermal transfer from the display film. For example, graphene particles disposed in a silicon resin to form the foam couples between a portable housing and a display film to transfer thermal energy to the portable housing from the display film.

  • Patent number: 11335245
Abstract: A first light emitting diode has a first driving input, and emits a red color light. A second light emitting diode has a second driving input, and emits a green color light. A third light emitting diode has a third driving input, and emits a blue color light. When a first current is applied to the third driving input, the third light emitting diode produces a first amount of blue light energy. When a second current is applied to the third driving input, the third light emitting diode produces a second amount of the blue light energy. The second amount of blue light energy corresponds to a percentage of blue energy reduction as compared to the amount of first blue light energy.

  • Publication number: 20220100237
Abstract: An information handling system housing provides a reduced overall material thickness by forming a planar housing piece of a first metal, such as aluminum, with an interior surface having channels of reduced thickness and laser sintering a pattern in the channel with a second material, such as a pattern of interconnected hexagons formed by lines of steel. • Publication number: 20220085780
Abstract: An information handling system housing forms an audio chamber within which a speaker generates audible noise based upon audible information. An adaptive material, such as an electroactive polymer, is disposed at an opening formed in the audio chamber to selectively expand to increase the audio chamber size and contract to decrease the audio chamber size. An increased audio chamber volume enhances audible noise, such as music or audio associated with audiovisual content. A decrease audio chamber can improve airflow within the housing, such as during times of thermal stress.
