  • Publication number: 20210387092
Abstract: Techniques for improving a graphical user interface are described. In an example, a computer system receives event data from a plurality of user devices. Each event data includes an identifier of an activity in a video game, completion data indicating completion of the activity, and location data indicating where the activity was completed in the video game. The identifier can be predefined in program code of the video game. The event data can be received based on an execution of the program code. The event data is processed to determine where the likely location for completing the activity in the video game. This likely location is shown as a graphical user interface element in a map.

  • Publication number: 20210350490
Abstract: Embarkation systems and methods for preventing the introduction and/or spread of infectious diseases within a cruise ship or other environment. An embarkation system includes at least one agent computing device located at an embarkation facility and configured to receive a disease-negative input corresponding to a customer's test result or proof of immunity to an infectious disease, retrieve a health status of the customer determined based at least in part on responses to one or more health questions provided to the customer, and to assist in controlling embarkation based at least in part on the disease-negative input and the health status of the customer. The at least one agent computing device may be operated by an agent of the cruise ship and may execute an agent app configured to display instructions and/or customer's boarding approval status to the agent.

  • Patent number: 11123639
Abstract: Techniques for improving a user video game experience are described. In an example, a computer system receives event data from a plurality of user devices. Each event data includes an identifier of an activity in a video game and data indicating completion of the activity. The identifier can be predefined in program code of the video game. The identifier and completion data can be received based on an execution of the program code. The event data is processed to determine a video game mechanic suggestion to help a player complete the activity.

  • Patent number: 11126691
Abstract: An apparatus is provided that receives a scalar start value, an adjust amount and wrapping control information, and includes vector generating circuitry for generating a vector comprising a plurality of elements such that a value of a first element is dependent on the scalar start value, and values of the plurality of elements follow a regularly progressing sequence that is constrained to wrap as required to ensure that each value is within bounds determined from the wrapping control information. The adjust amount is used to determine a difference between values of adjacent elements in the regularly progressing sequence. The vector generating circuitry has first adder circuitry for generating a plurality of first candidate values for the plurality of elements, assuming absence of a wrapping condition, and second adder circuitry for generating a plurality of second candidate values for the plurality of elements, assume presence of a wrapping condition.

  • Publication number: 20210177093
Abstract: A midsole for an article of footwear including a three-dimensional mesh including interconnected unit cells and methods of making the same. The interconnected unit cells each include a plurality of struts defining a three-dimensional shape. The interconnected unit cells are connected at nodes having a valence number defined by the number of struts connected at that node. The valence number of the nodes may vary to provide customized characteristics to zones or portions of the midsole. The plurality of interconnected unit cells may be organized in a warped cubic lattice structure. The warped cubic lattice structure and the size/shape of interconnected unit cells may vary to provide customized characteristics to zones or portions of the midsole. The three-dimensional mesh may be customized based on a biometric data profile for an individual, or group of individuals. The midsole may be manufactured using an additive manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 10672177
Abstract: A graphics processing system performs a final gather process so as to generate final gather lighting data for a scene. The final gather process comprises casting sampling rays from a final gather point within the scene. Radiosity data provided for the scene is sampled using the sampling rays cast from the final gather point. Final gather lighting data is then generated from the sampled radiosity data. The sampling rays are cast from the final gather point in an informed manner based on directional irradiance data provided for the scene. The final gather process can therefore be carried out by the graphics processing system more efficiently and effectively.

  • Publication number: 20200129863
Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods for cross-platform consumption of in-game objects are provided herein. An exemplary method includes receiving by a data platform from at least one first device game object data discovered by a user while playing a video game associated with the data platform; attributing by the data platform a cross-platform identifier to the game object data; storing by the data platform metadata associated with the game object data to a database associated with the data platform, and receiving by the data platform from a second device associated with the data platform a request for access to the game object data and the metadata. The request may include the cross-platform identifier. The exemplary method further includes authenticating by the data platform the request based on the cross-platform identifier; and based on the authentication selectively providing by the data platform access to game object data and the metadata.
