    Abstract: The present invention discloses a freezing-illumination method for preparing porous gels, comprising the steps of: (a) synthesizing the gels containing dynamic exchangeable bonds; (b) illuminating the gels under frozen state by certain wavelength light source; (c) elevating the temperature and melt the ice crystals within the gels to get the porous structure. The dynamic exchangeable bonds existing in the gels include double/multi-sulfur bond, hydrazine bond, boronic ester bond. Catalyst is also included in the gel composition to activate the bond exchange reactions under illumination. This new method for preparing porous gels is easy to operate and suitable for most kinds of gels. Meanwhile, it can spatially control the pore structure within the gels by local illumination.

    Abstract: A GaN transistor switch SW_MAIN has an integrated drain voltage sense circuit, which provides a drain voltage sense signal VDSEN. The integrated drain voltage sense circuit comprises GaN sense transistor SW_SEN and GaN sense resistor RSEN, which form a resistive divider for sensing the drain voltage of SW_MAIN, and generating the drain sense voltage output VDSEN. Fault detection logic circuitry of a driver circuit generates a fault signal FLT when VDSEN reaches or exceeds a reference voltage Vref, which triggers fast turn-off of the gate of SW_MAIN within less than 100 ns of an overcurrent or short circuit condition. During turn-off, RSEN resets to VDSEN=0. For two stage turn-off, the driver circuit further comprises fast soft turn-off circuitry which is triggered first by the fault signal to pull-down the gate voltage to the threshold voltage, followed by a delay before full turn-off of the gate SW_MAIN by the gate driver.

    Abstract: Encoding a group of frames of a video sequence can include determining a stillness of the group of frames, in response to determining that the stillness of the group of frames meets stillness conditions, encoding the group of frames using a coding structure that is a one-layer coding structure, and, in response to determining that the stillness of the group of frames does not meet the stillness conditions, encoding the group of frames using the coding structure that is a multi-layer coding structure. Instructions for decoding a group of frames include instructions to determine, from an encoded bitstream, an indication of a coding structure used to encode the group of frames, receive the group of frames in a coding order of the coding structure, and decode the group of frames using the coding structure. The indication is one of a one-layer coding structure indication or a multi-layer coding structure indication.

    Abstract: An apparatus for cutting a multilayer material includes a splitter module and a uniaxial crystal element. The splitter module, located in a transmission path of an incident light beam, is used for splitting the incident light beam into a first polarized light beam and a second polarized light beam. The uniaxial crystal element is disposed adjacent to the splitter module and on a transmission path of the first polarized light beam and the second polarized light beam. The first polarized light beam and the second polarized light beam pass through the uniaxial crystal element individually by having the first polarized light beam and the second polarized light in correspondence to different index of refractions, so that two focuses with different focal lengths can be obtained. In addition, a method for cutting a multilayer material method is also provided.

Otherwise, the group is provided to the prediction process in the display order as the input order. In performing the prediction process, the group, received in the input order, is arranged in a coding order using a group coding structure that defines at least one backward reference frame for inclusion within a set of candidate reference frames. The device removes particulate matter from a surface using a bounded vortex generated over the surface, with suction in the vortex center and jets for blowing air along the periphery. The jets are tilted in the tangential direction to induce vortex motion within the suction region. The vortex is said to be bounded because streamlines originating in the downward jets are entrained back into the central vortex.
