Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for processing messages sent to a recipient. The communication channel used to send the message is identified, where such a communication channel is not currently being used by the recipient. After identifying the communication channel(s) currently being used by the recipient, the contact information of users who have previously communicated with the recipient using the communication channel(s) currently being used by the recipient are analyzed. The message is then marked with the identity of the sender as well as the communication channel used by the sender after matching the contact information of the sender with the contact information of a user who had previously communicated with the recipient using the communication channel(s) currently being used by the recipient. The marked message is then sent to the recipient using a communication channel currently being used by the recipient.

Abstract: An image capturing system of an unmanned aerial vehicle is disclosed. The image capturing system includes a camera; a platform carrying the camera; and a platform controller configured to adjust a rotating speed of the camera through the platform based on a rotating instruction information and a current zoom magnification of the camera. The current zoom magnification is substantially real-time obtained from the camera. An image capturing method of an unmanned aerial vehicle is also disclosed. In the method a first instruction information and a rotating instruction information are received. A camera is zoomed based on the first instruction information. A current zoom magnification of the camera is obtained. A rotating speed of the camera is adjusted through a platform based on the rotating instruction information and the current zoom magnification.

Abstract: A process for selectively activating a guardian camera in response to detecting a distracted user includes first identifying an available camera external to a mobile computing device (MCD) having a field of view that incorporates a current location of a user of the MCD. The MCD then detects that a user's attention is substantially focused on a user interface of the MCD, and responsively transmits an instruction to the available camera to transition to a recording state and/or to begin monitoring an area surrounding the user for unexpected movements or objects. In response to the MCD detecting an indication that the available camera has recorded an unexpected movement or object in the area surrounding the user, the MCD takes a responsive action.

Abstract: Systems and methods for allowing software developers and the like to embed various different types of code and/or data manipulations into a software product. The embedded code manipulation instructions may be accessed and executed by test engineers or other users to induce fault paths and the like in the software product at run-time for analyzing the software's response to the induced fault paths. For instance, a user application of a software manipulation framework may expose a list of all of the instruction sets to a test engineer or the like in conjunction with one or more testing procedures to be performed on the software. Unless accessed by the test engineer, all of the testing probes may be represented by noops or placeholders at runtime to limit performance impact on the software.

Abstract: A communications system and method of operation thereof. The communications system includes a communication network, a plurality of subscriber units and accessories, and a communications server. Each of the plurality of accessories are associated with and linked to one of the of subscriber units by a wireless connection. The communications server communicates with the plurality of subscriber units via the communication network, and is configured to obtain and maintain a plurality of data on each of the plurality of subscriber units, and generate a backup list identifying secondary subscriber units to which each of the plurality of accessories can link. Upon detecting a condition where communication drops below a desired level of service, the communication server is configured to identify a secondary subscriber unit from the first accessory's backup list and instruct the secondary subscriber unit to link with the first accessory.

Abstract: This disclosure will describe a novel finding and make the claim for the first time on a group of old compounds and formulated new compounds. These compounds have superconducting property at high temperatures, i.e., 151 K or higher. Several compounds were prepared, though not well-purified, at around middle of 1900s. Their chemical, structural, electric and magnetic properties were studied and reported but their superconducting property has not been known and has never been exploited because the idea of type-II superconductivity was not proposed at that time. The experiments to further verify their high temperature superconductivity require the utilization of sophisticated facilities on synthesizing highly pure compounds and the deregulation from government security authorities on purchasing the starting materials.

One method includes forming a communication group of one or more portable communications devices based on a first object of interest and identifying a second object of interest based on the first object of interest. The method also includes determining whether an image feed includes the second object of interest and when the image feed includes the second object of interest, adding a portable communications device associated with the image feed to the communication group.

The method further includes identifying, with the electronic processor, a second plurality of characteristics of the suspect. The method further includes generating, with the electronic processor, a second score for the suspect based on the second plurality of characteristics. The method further includes outputting, with an output device electrically connected to the electronic processor, a recommended action.

The method comprises: a network element obtaining configuration information of resource sharing, the configuration information comprising: configuring a sharing type of a shared resource of the network element, configuring division of a share of the shared resource of the network element, and configuring a sharing party corresponding to the share of the shared resource of the network element; and the network element controlling the shared resource of the network element according to the configuration information. By means of the present invention, a share of a shared resource of a network element can be configured, and a carrier or a PLMN or a user equipment in a shared network can be accurately controlled.

The method includes executing a first call between the converged communications device and a first network using a first communication modality, audibilizing the first call with one of an earpiece speaker and a loudspeaker, receiving a second call from a second network having a second communication modality different from the first communication modality, sensing an action by a user in response to receiving the second call, and audibilizing the second call with the other of the earpiece speaker and the loudspeaker based on the action and based on the second communication modality. Also discloses is a converged communications device performing the method.

Abstract: Improved incident device pairing for safety and security of first responders entering an incident scene area associated with an incident is provided. An electronic computing device (ECD) transmits a request to scan for nearby pairable mobile computing devices to each of a plurality of mobile computing devices (MCDs) associated with the incident. The ECD receives identity information from each MCDs setting forth identities of other MCDs reachable via a short-range wireless communication link. The ECD accesses equipment mapping information that sets forth equipment associated with the MCD or user thereof and identifies a plurality of pairs of MCDs for entering the incident scene area as a function of the identity and equipment mapping information. The ECD then transmits a short-range pairing instruction to each MCD identifying the other mobile computing device in the pair and instructing the MCDs to pair with one another via their short-range wireless communication link.

Abstract: A multi-system priority scan process including maintaining, at a mobile station (MS), a scan list including channels associated with talkgroups, the talkgroups including one or more trunked radio system talkgroups and one or more conventional radio system talkgroups. The MS negotiates, with a trunked radio system, a working channel for a particular trunked radio system talkgroup out of the trunked radio system talkgroups, the working channel being a traffic channel that the trunked radio system will first attempt to assign a call for that talkgroup. During a subsequent scan for talkgroup for activity associated with the particular trunked radio system talkgroup, the MS switches to the working channel and determines if a carrier is present on the working channel, without switching to a control channel of the trunked radio system to scan for activity associated with the particular trunked radio system talkgroup.

Abstract: A method of managing communications of a mobile communications device. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a travel route with the mobile communications device and assigning a first quality of service to the mobile communications device in response to receiving the travel route. The method also includes determining a current location of the mobile communications device, determining a positional deviation of the mobile communications device from the travel route based on the current location of the mobile communications device, and assigning a second quality of service to the mobile communications device when the positional deviation of the mobile communications device exceeds a predetermined threshold. The second quality of service being higher than the first quality of service.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a cell management method and a base station. The method includes: obtaining, by a base station, configuration information, where the configuration information includes information about at least two cells, the first cell and the second cell belong to different public land mobile networks PLMNs or are managed by different network element management systems; and managing, by the base station, the at least two cells according to the configuration information. According to the present invention, it can implement collaborative management of cells that are in different PLMNs or different network element management systems under a shared base station.
