Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for patching direct-mode talkgroups among dual-watch mobile radios. A mobile radio has first and second receivers, and is in a first talkgroup having a first channel. The mobile radio resides the first receiver on the first channel, and detects either a first patch event or a second patch event. The first patch event is an instruction for a first-channel session. The second patch event is an invitation for a second-channel session. Upon detecting the first patch event, the mobile radio transmits an invitation on the first channel and also on one or more other channels respectively associated with one or more other talkgroups, directing all recipients to the first channel. If the mobile radio detects the second patch event, the mobile radio resides the second receiver on the second channel.

Abstract: A method of controlling a converged communications device. The method includes executing a first call between the converged communications device and a first network using a first communication modality, audibilizing the first call with one of an earpiece speaker and a loudspeaker, receiving a second call from a second network having a second communication modality different from the first communication modality, sensing an action by a user in response to receiving the second call, and audibilizing the second call with the other of the earpiece speaker and the loudspeaker based on the action and based on the second communication modality. Also discloses is a converged communications device performing the method.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a radio access network (RAN) device maintains a proxy mapping table (PMT) of any mobile radios that are currently registered with the RAN via a mobile subscriber unit (MSU). The PMT indicates, for each mobile radio listed in the PMT, the particular MSU via which that particular mobile radio is registered with the RAN. The RAN device receives a first service request for a first mobile radio that is listed in the PMT as being registered with the RAN via a first MSU and, in response to receiving the first service request, makes a determination that an air-interface link is available for communication between the RAN and the first MSU. In response to making the determination, the RAN device communicates the first service request via the available air-interface link to the first MSU for delivery to the first mobile radio.

Abstract: This disclosure will describe a novel finding and make the claim for the first time on a group of old compounds and formulated new compounds. These compounds have superconducting property at high temperatures, i.e., 151K or higher. Several compounds were prepared, though not well-purified, at around middle of 1900s. Their chemical, structural, electric and magnetic properties were studied and reported but their superconducting property has not been known and has never been exploited because the idea of type-II superconductivity was not proposed at that time. Consequently, we claim this finding as an invention even though our invention is based on the studies of the compounds' electric and magnetic properties along with their crystallographic features from the previous publications.

Abstract: At least one embodiment takes the form of a process carried out by a given mobile radio in a group of mobile radios. The process includes broadcasting heartbeat messages in accordance with a group-wide symmetric-timing protocol and maintaining an in-range list of mobile radios. The in-range list is maintained at least in part by (i) adding mobile radios that are not already on the in-range list to the in-range list upon detecting transmissions from such mobile radios; (ii) maintaining, for each mobile radio on the in-range list, a respective keepalive timer in accordance with the group-wide symmetric-timing protocol; and (iii) removing mobile radios from the in-range list upon expiration of the respective keepalive timers. The process further includes presenting an alert via a user interface when a count of mobile radios on the in-range list falls below a notification threshold.

Abstract: This application provides a virtual network policy configuration method and system, and a virtual network element and a network administration system thereof. The virtual network element includes: a receiving module, configured to receive policy configuration information; and a processing module, configured to perform service control according to the policy configuration information received by the receiving module. Different virtual network elements in this application can receive specific policy configuration information and perform separate configuration, so as to resolve a technical problem that in the prior art, when virtualized deployment is performed, a system needs to perform unified and coordinated processing on all virtual network elements, resulting in low efficiency and slow deployment. In this application, a system resource is allocated and used more properly, and additionally a specific configuration catalog is refined by using policy configuration information.

Abstract: A user terminal, a password-based trading terminal, a system and a method for password-based authentication are provided. Wherein, the user terminal comprises a password generation module and a first near field communication module. The password generation module is configured to generate a password. The first near field communication module is configured to convert the generated password into near field communication label data, and then send the data to a password-based trading terminal through near field communication. The present application effectively ensures password security during the password-based authentication.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a SON-based terminal selection method related to the field of communications technologies, where a target terminal is selected pertinently to participate in implementation of a SON algorithm. The method provided by the embodiments of the present invention includes: determining a terminal selection criterion under a requirement of implementing different SON algorithms; and performing target terminal selection from managed terminals according to the terminal selection criterion. A system and a network entity corresponding to the method are also provided. By applying the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention, a target terminal can be selected pertinently to participate in implementation of the SON algorithm, which avoids waste of resources of terminals that do not need to participate in implementation of the SON algorithm, and improves user experience of these terminals.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and device for subscribing to an RLF report. An integration reference point manager configures a subscription condition for an RLF report for an integration reference point agent. The integration reference point manager obtains an RLF report that is sent by the integration reference point agent and satisfies the subscription condition. The present invention can avoid that a base station sends an RLF report obtained from a UE, to an IRPManager through an IRPAgent in a best-effort mode, thereby decreasing the load of information transferred between the IRPManager and the IRPAgent.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a first transparent substrate including a first surface and a second surface, a color filter layer formed on the first surface of the first transparent substrate, a first alignment film formed on the color filter layer, and a first electrode interlayered in the color filter layer. The second substrate includes a second transparent substrate comprising a third surface and a fourth surface, a second electrode and a third electrode formed on the third surface of the second transparent substrate sequentially, and a second alignment film is formed on the third electrode. The second electrode and the third electrode are arranged at different insulation layers respectively and electrically insulated with each other. Abstract: A method for deploying virtual operation, administration and maintenance includes obtaining customized information of virtual operation, administration and maintenance (V-OAM) that needs to be deployed, where the customized information defines an attribute of the V-OAM, and deploying, on a virtualized network according to the customized information, the V-OAM that is capable of managing at least one type of VNF network element. The V-OAM is deployed on the virtualized network.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for energy saving management in a network management system are disclosed. The method for energy saving management includes: configuring, by an integrated reference point manager IRPManager, an energy saving policy, where the energy saving policy includes an identifier of a coverage backup entity for energy saving and further includes policy information of energy saving activation and/or policy information of energy saving deactivation; and sending, by the IRPManager, the energy saving policy to an integrated reference point agent IRPAgent, where the energy saving policy is used to perform energy saving management on a base station.

Abstract: The present application discloses a method, an apparatus, and a system for minimization of drive tests (MDT), and relates to the field of communications technologies. In a technical solution, by obtaining a mapping relationship between a trace control entity (TCE) address and a TCE identifier, and according to the TCE identifier included in the MDT report reported by the UE, a corresponding TCE address is obtained and the MDT report is sent to a TCE corresponding to the TCE address. Therefore, it is unnecessary to send an actual TCE network address to the user equipment. The technical solution improves security and solves the insecurity problem of the MDT measurement. The technical solution is simple, convenient and easy to implement, and reduces the complexity of network signaling interaction and network processing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a network sharing method and apparatus. The method comprises: a network element obtaining configuration information of resource sharing, the configuration information comprising: configuring a sharing type of a shared resource of the network element, configuring division of a share of the shared resource of the network element, and configuring a sharing party corresponding to the share of the shared resource of the network element; and the network element controlling the shared resource of the network element according to the configuration information. By means of the present invention, a share of a shared resource of a network element can be configured, and a carrier or a PLMN or a user equipment in a shared network can be accurately controlled.

Abstract: A method for minimization of drive tests, a method for collecting terminal information, a terminal, and a network element, belong to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: in a process of activating a minimization of drive tests MDT task, checking, by a network element, a consent type of a user corresponding to a selected terminal; sending an MDT task activation command to the selected terminal according to a check result of the consent type; after receiving measured data reported by the selected terminal, performing an operation according to a check result of the consent type. In embodiments of the present invention, check on user consent is implemented in a network detection process, thereby avoiding a case that a user equipment is forced to report personal information without permission of the user and improving the user experience.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an MDT control method, system, and network element device. The network element device acquires an MDT PLMN list, where the MDT PLMN List includes at least two PLMN identities, and UEs in at least two PLMNs corresponding to the at least two PLMN identities can perform MDT in the at least two PLMNs; when a first UE accesses a current PLMN, the network element device acquires and determines that a user intention of the first UE is to permit performing the MDT; the network element device judges whether the MDT PLMN List includes an HPLMN identity or an EHPLMN identity of the first UE; and when the MDT PLMN List includes the HPLMN identity or EHPLMN identity of the first UE, the network element device instructs the first UE to perform the MDT measurements.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for managing network sharing, where the method includes: acquiring, by an access network element, information about occupation of a resource of an access network element by a network sharing party; and reporting, by the access network element, the occupation information to a core network device, where the occupation information is used by the core network device to charge a user equipment UE that accesses the access network element. Abstract: A discharging circuit for a power supply includes a rectifying circuit for coupling to an input filter capacitor coupled to an AC input voltage for providing a rectified AC voltage. A discharge resistor is coupled to the rectifying circuit, and a power switch and a discharging current source are coupled in series with the discharging resistor. A discharge control circuit is coupled to the discharge resistor for providing a discharge signal to cause the power switch to turn on for discharging the capacitor using the discharging current source. The discharging control circuit includes an AC voltage sampling circuit for providing a sampled rectified voltage, a signal-shaping circuit for providing a time-varying signal derived from the sampled rectified voltage, a comparator circuit for comparing the sampled rectified voltage and the time-varying signal, and a counter circuit for providing the discharge signal in response to an output of the comparator circuit.
