  • Publication number: 20240152645
Abstract: A system, method, and data registry system for registering a claim of ownership rights. Data associated with an asset is received in a data registry system. A unique identifier is automatically assigned for the data. The data is automatically identified and classified. The data, the asset, and a potential claim associated with the asset is authenticated and verified. A digital representation of the asset including at least a claim is created in the data registry system. The claim is stored in a digital ledger of the data registry system. Requests for information associated with the claim are answered.

  • Patent number: 10692400
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a haptic system of rotating cylindrical shafts topped with caps to create a virtual sensation of Braille text by integrating a microprocessor with microdrive motors. The micro drive's shafts are crowned with plastic cylindrical caps, the top face of which are precisely flush or level with the device's display surface thereby emulating the standard diameter and feel of a Braille dot or Braille space in two dimensions. It is the rotation of the drive's shaft that spins the caps and simulates the sensation of a Braille dot that is felt with the fingertips. This sensation of a two dimensional rotating dot is the result of the top face of the capped shafts positioned flush with the device's display surface. Motors that alternate between rotating shafts and shafts at rest produce Braille cell dots and spaces, respectively.

  • Patent number: 10419613
Abstract: A communication session analyzer is integrated or otherwise coupled to an audio player to generate a system for analyzing voice-based communication sessions. Embodiments of the system also include a data store and an output device, respectively. The analyzer identifies a communication session attribute. An automated or human reviewer of a stored communication session forwards an assessment for an observed communication session. The data store receives and stores the communication session attribute with the assessment in a common format. Alternatively, an output device generates a representation that includes the communication session attribute and the assessment. When customer feedback is available for a particular communication session, the system identifies the communication session as one that should be reviewed.

  • Patent number: 9699059
Abstract: Computer communications that are to be recorded are visible to a network interface on a recording computer. The network interface receives the packets to be recorded. The network layer of the recording computer implements a subset of the normal IP module in the network layer. Instead of checking every IP packet, the IP module in the network layer assumes that most IP packets are correctly addressed, internally consistent and of the expected protocol type. The recording computer allocates the received packets to a recording session based upon the value of a field that is at a fixed position within the packet. Packets that are allocated to a session are recorded or associated with other packets that have been allocated to the same session.

  • Patent number: 9588673
Abstract: A method comprises receiving an input event generated when at least one contact is made on an interactive surface at a location corresponding to a graphical object; determining the number of contacts associated with the input event; tracking movement of the at least one contact on the interactive surface; identifying a graphical object manipulation based on the number of contacts, the movement of the at least one contact, and the graphical object type; and performing the graphical object manipulation.

  • Patent number: 9588951
Abstract: A conferencing system comprises a plurality of computing devices communicating over at least one network during a conference session, at least one of the computing devices being configured to share content displayed thereby with other computing devices, the other computing devices displaying the shared content, at least one of the computing devices also being configured to accept input annotations made on the displayed shared content and to share input annotations with other computing devices over a channel independent of the shared content.

  • Patent number: 9253131
Abstract: A method whereby a communication can be readily determined to be from an authorized sender or, conversely, identified as being from an imposter, wherein a digital token is created according to a set of at least two rules known to the creator and intended recipient of the communication, further wherein the digital token comprises a recognizable factor such as an image, word, or audio segment, and a system comprising means for implementing the method of the disclosure; wherein fraudulent messages may readily be identified by recognizing whether or not the digital token associated with the message complies with one or more pre-determined rules, even if the system presenting the message is unaware of the rules or even of the authentication process as a whole.

  • Publication number: 20140096033
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method of handling a plurality of communications between parties. Novel approaches to the presentation, storage and creation of both real-time and “store and forward” interactions are presented. These make it easier for a user of the system to read and understand what is being communicated, by whom and to whom. This extends beyond the presentation of a single message to sets of related messages. By combining recording of real-time interactions with the presentation and handling of inherently “store and forward” mechanisms, users find it easier to mix and match communication methods optimally for the task at hand.
