Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for quality of service (QOS) based peer-to-peer (P2P) transmission opportunity grants. A first wireless communication device receives a first management message including a first stream identifier associated with a second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device transmits a second management message to an access point, the second management message including a second stream identifier and an identifier of the second wireless communication device based on the first management message. The first wireless communication device receives a first control message associated with a shared transmission opportunity, the first control message including parameters that satisfy a set of QoS of the second wireless communication device, where the first control message enables the shared transmission opportunity for the second wireless communication device and a third wireless communication device.

  • Publication number: 20250144277
Abstract: An embodiment includes a process for treating an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) endoleak with a shape memory polymer (SMP) foam device. First, a bifurcated stent graft is placed within the aneurysm while a micro guidewire is positioned within the aneurysm for future catheter access. Second, after placing the iliac graft extension, a catheter is introduced over wire to deliver embolic foams. Third, embolic foams expand and conform to the aneurysm wall. Fourth, embolic foams create a stable thrombus to prevent endoleak formation by isolating peripheral vessels from the aneurysm volume.

  • Patent number: 12294413
Abstract: A quantum communication method comprising: at a sender, preparing photons encoded in a single spatial, spectral, and temporal (SST) mode to form a quantum signal; and introducing the quantum signal into a quantum channel; at a receiver, a detector and filtering system optically processing the quantum signal and rejecting background noise photons in the quantum channel, and performing active temporal filtering by switching the polarization of the quantum signal without substantially adding noise; and wherein the active temporal filtering minimizes saturation of the detector.

  • Patent number: 12294514
Abstract: A network interface controller (NIC) capable of efficient operation management for host accelerators is provided. The NIC can be equipped with a host interface and triggering logic block. During operation, the host interface can couple the NIC to a host device. The triggering logic block can obtain, via the host interface from the host device, an operation associated with an accelerator of the host device. The triggering logic block can determine whether a triggering condition has been satisfied for the operation based on an indicator received from the accelerator. If the triggering condition has been satisfied, the triggering logic block can obtain a piece of data generated from the accelerator from a memory location and execute the operation using the piece of data.

  • Patent number: 12292802
Abstract: An illustrative media agent (MA) in a data storage management system instructs a NAS file server (filer) to restore an MA-created synthesized-copy instead of larger filer-created backup copies. The synthesized-copy is designed only for the particular files to be restored and mimics, and is typically much smaller than, a filer-created backup copy. The synthesized-copy is fed to the filer on restore as a “restore data image.” When receiving a restore request for certain backed-up data files, the MA synthesizes the synthesized-copy on the fly. The MA generates a header mimicking a filer-created backup header; extracts files from filer-created backup copies arranging them within the synthesized-copy as if in filer-created backups; and instructs filer to perform a full-volume restore from the synthesized-copy. The MA serves the synthesized-copy piecemeal as available, rather than waiting to synthesize the entire synthesized-copy. The synthesized-copy is not stored at the MA.

  • Patent number: 12292770
Abstract: An improved method and system for heating and cooling an electronic device, when internal temperatures are below safe operating ranges. To do so, the system selectively heats or cools each zone of the electronic device. This may be done by individual heaters and/or cooling system for each separate zones. Alternatively, or in addition too, the system can selectively open and close baffles, causing fresh ambient air to enter and/or recirculate heated air in a device's enclosure. This keeps sensitive components of the computing device, such as processors and memory from suffering damage, by operating them at temperatures that are either too cold or too warm.

  • Publication number: 20250141599
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications at a first wireless device. The method generally includes generating a protected frame that indicates: 1) an updated starting sequence number (SSN) of a block acknowledgment (BA) window and 2) an intended purpose of the protected frame as a request to update a BA window with the updated SSN; outputting, for transmission to a second wireless device that the first wireless device has established a protected block acknowledgment (BA) agreement with, the protected frame; generating multiple medium access control (MAC) Protocol Data Units (MPDUs) with SNs within the updated BA window; and outputting, for transmission to the second wireless device, the multiple MPDUs.

  • Publication number: 20250142396
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods and devices for managing the allocation of resources for uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmissions associated with a scheduled time period. In some implementations, a wireless station (STA) transmits, to an access point (AP), a request frame indicating a bandwidth or a quantity of spatial streams (or both) for the UL transmissions, and indicating a bandwidth or a quantity of spatial streams (or both) for the DL transmissions. In some instances, the request frame also may indicate the STA's intention to transmit UL data as duplicates carried on different communication links. The STA receives a trigger frame indicating that the STA is scheduled to transmit or receive data during the time period. The STA transmits data to, or receives data from, one or more other devices during the time period.
