Patent number: 10713888Abstract: Security measures for an automated gaming system are disclosed. When pre-identified segments of code and/or data are installed into the gaming system, the installation is automatically carried out under control of scripts that cause a corresponding installer to automatically install the identified segments and at the same time automatically generate respective verification records for the installed segments and to automatically send to a secured database, the generated verification records and their respective segment identifications and to cause the database to automatically receive and encrypt the received verification records, to store the encrypted verification records in association with their respective segment identifications and to store in an essentially read-only portion of the database and in association with respective ones of the segment identifications, corresponding decryption keys and/or identifications of decryption procedures that can be used to decrypt the encrypted verification records.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2018Date of Patent: July 14, 2020Assignee: AGS LLCInventors: James Andrew Ruiz, Anil Kumar Narra, Jerish Augustine, Thomas Edward Moore

Publication number: 20200011079Abstract: Buoyant, autonomous devices for actively scrubbing upstanding walls of swimming pools and spas at and nearby their waterlines are detailed. The devices may be configured to float on and travel along a surface of water of a pool and include at least one brush or scrubber adapted to contact pool walls. An electric motor may cause the scrubber to rotate about a shaft or axle, with frictional contact between the scrubber and the wall dislodging dirt and debris therefrom. In particular, if a scrubber is conically shaped and angled relative to the vertical direction, its rotating blades may lift water from the pool to hydrate dried debris stuck to the wall, thereby facilitating dislodging of the debris.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2019Publication date: January 9, 2020Inventors: Hendrikus Johannes van der Meijden, Michael Edward Moore

Patent number: 10030402Abstract: Swimming pool cleaners are detailed with filtration components attached at the rears of their bodies. At least some of the components may be external to a body, rather than within it, so as to provide greater surface area for filtered water to exit. They also may allow users to view the quantity of debris trapped in the filter without having to dissemble the cleaner. By contrast with many existing external filter bags, moreover, the components need not protrude materially above (or below) the heights of the bodies, hence avoiding creation of hydraulic drag as the cleaners move within pools, spas, or other liquid-containing vessels.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2016Date of Patent: July 24, 2018Assignee: ZODIAC POOL SYSTEMS, LLCInventors: Michael Edward Moore, Hendrikus Johannes van der Meijden

Patent number: 9942145Abstract: Present disclosure relates to methods for preparing BGP update messages for transmission and processing received update messages. The methods are based on grouping path attributes common to a plurality of IP address prefixes into respective sets identified with respective set identifiers and, instead of duplicating path attributes in each BGP update message, including a respective identifier referring to a certain set of path attributes provided in an earlier BGP update message when sending subsequent update messages. Grouping of path attributes into individual sets associated with respective identifiers provides significant advantages by enabling re-use of the results of previous processing on both the sending and receiving sides associated with transmission of BGP update messages. In addition, such an approach limits the amount of information transmitted in the control plane because duplicate sets of path attributes may only be transmitted once and merely be referred to in subsequent update messages.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2015Date of Patent: April 10, 2018Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Yi Yang, Alvaro E. Retana, Steven Edward Moore, James L. Ng, Timothy M. Gage
