  • Publication number: 20020047578
Abstract: The plasma display apparatus, in which the light emission efficiency is improved, has been disclosed. The fourth electrodes, which extend in the same direction of the first electrodes (X electrode) and the second electrodes (Y electrodes) and are exposed into the discharge space, are provided between the first and the second electrodes where the sustaining discharge is carried out, and when the sustain action is carried out, the fixed voltage between the voltage applied to the first electrode and that applied to the second electrode is applied to the fourth electrode provided between the first and the second electrodes where the sustain action is carried out in order to make the electric field between the first and the second electrodes uniform.

  • Patent number: 6248292
Abstract: An overlaying alloy containing no Cr or a reduced amount of Cr, in which an effective amount of Mo oxide is formed even in a weak oxidizing atmosphere such as a combustion atmosphere of diesel engines and engines using CNG, LPG or other gases as a fuel to provide an improved non-damaging property and wear resistance. An overlaying alloy comprising 20-70 wt % Mo, 0.5-3 wt % C, 5-40 wt % Ni, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, which contains no Cr to facilitate formation of Mo oxide and is advantageously applied to the parts on which an oxide coating is not easily formed such as the engine parts subject to a lower temperature combustion atmosphere. An overlaying alloy comprising 20-60 wt % Mo, 0.2-3 wt % C, 5-40 wt % Ni, 0.1-10 wt % Cr, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities, which contains a small amount of Cr to control formation of Mo oxide and is advantageously applied to the parts on which an oxide coating is relatively easily formed.

  • Patent number: 5620177
Abstract: A paper slip storage system having a paper slip storage container (20) being placed in conjunction with a transport mechanism for storing transported paper slips is disclosed. The system has a temporary housing section (33), a rotational displacement mechanism (30, 80), and a separation mechanism (60). The temporary housing section (33) receives a transported paper slip M and temporarily houses it. The rotational displacement mechanism (30, 80) rotationally displaces the housing section for guiding the paper slip housed therein to a paper slip storage position of the paper slip storage container (20). The separation mechanism (60) blocks rotation of the paper slip housed in the temporary housing section against operation of rotational displacement of the temporary housing section and separates the paper slip from the temporary housing section at the paper slip storage position of the paper slip storage container.

  • Patent number: 5516104
Abstract: A slot machine which uses pachinko balls as game media. It stores in a memory the number of pachinko balls (unit number) economically equivalent to a medal. During take in of pachinko balls for starting a game and dispensing of pachinko balls as prizes, pachinko balls corresponding to an integral multiplication of the unit number are handled. When the unit number is changed, it can be easily accomplished by a change in a value of the unit number using the change instruction inputting apparatus. In the slot machine, the sprocket which controls the dispensing of the pachinko balls and the ratchet wheel are preferably set on the same axis and disengageably linked by a fixing projection and a fixing concave provided on them for conjoint rotation when required.

  • Patent number: 5499604
Abstract: In a supercharged engine, a supercharger and a throttle body disposed midway in an intake passage are located away from an engine block. A blow-by gas passage constituting a PCV apparatus is connected between a portion of the intake passage located on the upstream side of a throttle valve and a crankcase. The blow-by gas passage returns the blow-by gas collected in the crankcase to the intake passage. A cooling water passage extending from the engine block is connected to a radiator. A water passage extending from the radiator is connected to the engine block via the throttle body, which water passage encloses the blow-by gas passage in an intermediate portion thereof.

  • Patent number: 5465953
Abstract: A bank note conveying equipment which is capable of preventing a jam during conveyance of bank note caused by damaged bank note and any problems in collecting and storing the bank note in a bank note storing unit. Bank notes are held between a pinch roller and an endless belt on a bank note conveying path, and conveyed along the bank note conveying path according to the rotation of the endless belt. When the bank note deviates from the bank note conveying path, either of modifying rollers provided outside the bank note conveying path in the widthwise direction thereof holds the bank note therebetween and rotates so that the bank note may be brought back to the bank note conveying path, and thereby correcting the conveying posture.
