  • Patent number: 11560747
Abstract: A sunroof panel and sunshade assembly system includes a moveable sunroof panel operable to selectively move to a first closed position within a sunroof opening of a vehicle and a sunshade operable to selectively move to a second closed position within the sunroof opening. The sunshade includes a leading-edge portion and a spring force displacement member within the leading-edge portion of the sunshade, wherein the spring force displacement member is operable to deform when the sunshade contacts an obstruction while the sunshade is moving. The system further includes an electric machine providing motive force to the sunshade and a computerized sunroof panel and sunshade controller. The controller operates programming to monitor operation of the electric machine, determine a presence of the obstruction based upon the monitored operation, and command the electric machine to stop and reverse the sunshade based upon the determined presence.

  • Patent number: 11534528
Abstract: Gamma ray and e-beam irradiation provided efficient sterilization of certain self-assembling peptides (including RADA16 in solution) without substantial degradation of the major peptide, while, e.g., another self-assembly peptide, QLEL12 was significantly degraded following irradiation. Irradiation sterilization enhances the rheological property of, for example, RADA16 hydrogel once applied to tissue at a physiological pH. The rheological property increase can result in higher efficacy in a variety of biomedical applications.

  • Patent number: 11487537
Abstract: In an approach to linking operational data with issues, a new event is received. The new event is associated to a story, where the story is related to an identified problem within the system, and further where the new event is associated with the story using machine learning techniques. The story is associated to related change requests based on a similarity between the story and related change requests, where the similarity between the story and the related change requests is associated using the machine learning techniques. A cost is calculated for the story. Responsive to associating the new event with a specific change request, the priority of the specific change request is updated based on the cost for the story.

  • Publication number: 20220329526
Abstract: A system for facilitating data transmission in a switch is provided. During operation, the system can obtain one or more sets of configuration parameters for a plurality of traffic policing filters of the switch. A respective traffic policing filter can correspond to a token bucket. A number of tokens in the token bucket can indicate whether to forward a packet associated with the traffic policing filter. The system can determine the token allocation frequencies for the plurality of traffic policing filters based on the one or more sets of configuration parameters. The system can then select a sampling interval from the token allocation frequencies based on a selection policy and determine a performance rate for the plurality of traffic policing filters based on the sampling interval.
