    Abstract: A bond positioning method for a wire-bonding process and a substrate for the bond positioning method are provided. At least one solder mask mark is formed in a solder mask layer on the substrate, such that during the wire-bonding process, the solder mask mark serves as a reference point for determining deviation of the solder mask layer and performing coordinate compensation according to the deviation so as to re-define positioning of a second bonding point of a bonding wire. This can overcome defects relating to bonding wires such as bending, cracking, or detachment of the bonding wires caused by undesirable contact between the bonding wires and the solder mask layer in the conventional wire-bonding process, thereby improving the production yield of the wire-bonding process, reducing material costs associated with defective products, and reducing the overall fabrication costs.

The method for transferring the program via the network uses a terminal to request the server to re-transfer the program when the terminal receives only a portion of the program requested by another terminal instead of receiving the complete program during a timeout period. The method and the network system for transferring programs are capable of substantially reducing the transferring time for an operating system and effectively improving the transferring efficiency to overcome the prior art shortcomings.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a unit selection module for Chinese Text-to-Speech (TTS) synthesis, mainly comprising a probabilistic context free grammar (PCFG) parser, a latent semantic indexing (LSI) module, and a modified variable-length unit selection scheme; any Chinese sentence is firstly input and then parsed into a context-free grammar (CFG) by the PCFG parser; wherein there are several possible CFGs for every Chinese sentence, and the CFG (or the syntactic structure) with the highest probability is then taken as the best CFG (or the syntactic structure) of the Chinese sentence; the LSI module is then used to calculate the structural distance between all the candidate synthesis units and the target unit in a corpus; through the modified variable-length unit selection scheme, tagged with the dynamic programming algorithm, the units are searched to find the best synthesis unit concatenation sequence.

The second bore may also be machined with internal threads for receiving the external threads on another coupler.

When the dial key signals of the dial device are inputted and the dial device is not connected, that is, a user is pressing a phone number, the values corresponding to the inputted dial key signals are sequentially stored in a first memory. When the dial device is connected but the dial key signals of the dial device are still inputted, which means that the user is pressing an extension number or a key instruction, the values corresponding to the inputted dial key signal are also stored in the first memory. In addition, at least a time value is stored in a second memory. During the redial procedure, the time value can be used to properly process the time delay problem between the normal phone number and the extension number.
