Abstract: The present invention provides an inductance coil comprising a magnetic core and a coil, wherein the coil is formed by winding a flat wire, and the flat surface of the wire is perpendicular to the axis around which the coil is wound. The coil is wrapped with an insulating adhesive tape and the tape is wound on the wire around an axis which is substantially in line with the direction along which the wire forming the coil extends, so as to form an isolation layer on the surface of the coil. Additionally, the present invention provides an electromagnetic device including the above inductance coil.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling signalling transmission in a power-saving mode are disclosed. The method includes that a terminal transmits a tracking area update request signalling or a routing area update request signalling to a new mobility management unit, wherein each signalling includes a power-saving parameter; and the new mobility management unit transmits a power-saving parameter to an old mobility management unit or a serving gateway. According to the disclosure, a network is enabled to keep pace with the power-saving mode of the terminal, and a paging message is transmitted only at activation time, thereby ensuring that the terminal may receive the paging message, and avoiding resource waste caused by repeated paging of the network.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for registering a terminal. The method includes: after a gateway receives a registration request of a peripheral of a terminal, the gateway authenticating and verifying the peripheral of the terminal; after the authentication and verification are passed, the gateway initiating a remote registration request to a machine-to-machine (M2M) service platform or an M2M application, the remote registration request being used for requesting the M2M service platform or the M2M application to register the peripheral of the terminal to the M2M service platform or the M2M application. Based on the technical solutions, technical problems such as low security and privacy in M2M network communications in the related art are solved, and registration of a terminal is locally verified, thereby further improving the security and privacy in M2M network communications.

The device includes: a mobile management element configured to manage access control, status judgment and signaling exchange with other control components of a terminal; a visited location register configured to store paging information of the terminal and transmit a paging request according to the paging information. The method and the device solve the defect that that network resources are wasted as a system cannot judge the status of a terminal under a sleep or a power saving mode, and wrong information is fed back, and an ineffective paging request is repeatedly transmitted in the related art, and improve the working efficiency of the whole network.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for managing a monitoring task, the method comprising: receiving, by a gateway, monitoring configuration information transmitted by a machine to machine (M2M) service platform or M2M application server, wherein a management parameter for managing a monitoring task is carried in the monitoring configuration information; managing the monitoring task by the gateway according to the management parameter. The effect that the gateway can effectively manage the monitoring task is achieved.

Abstract: A short message sending method, a short message service center (SMS-SC) and a gateway are provided. The short message service center constructs a message body for bearing short message, includes routing information of the short message in this message body, and sends the message body to a short message mobile switching center gateway; after receiving the message body and determining that the message body includes the routing information of the short message, the short message mobile switching center gateway sends the short message to a core network service node according to the routing information. The SMS-SC sends the obtained routing information together with the short message to an SMS-GMSC, so that the SMS-GMSC does not need to request the routing information from an HSS or an HLR, which can reduce the interactive signaling, save the network resources, and optimize the system performance.

Abstract: A method for searching for a device and a terminal device are provided. The method comprises the following steps of: transmitting a ranging signal by a terminal device to the outside, receiving pieces of feedback information provided by nearby devices in response to the ranging signal by the terminal device; generating a searching result list according to the feedback information by the terminal device, and arranging all the nearby devices of the searching result list in an ascending order of the distances between the terminal device and the nearby devices; and displaying the searching result list on the terminal device. Thereby, the present disclosure allows a user to quickly find a target device with which he or she needs to establish a connection.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and device for monitoring. The method comprises: performing monitoring operation, by a gateway, on a monitored object in monitoring configuration information, and obtaining a monitored result (S102); reporting, by the gateway, the monitored result to a machine-to-machine (M2M) service platform or an M2M application server according to a report configuration in the monitoring configuration information (S104). With the embodiments of present invention, the effect is achieved that the M2M network is able to grasp various kinds of state parameters to execute statistics according to demands, and also, to obtain fault alarm information timely according to the configuration and execute corresponding operations timely.

The method comprises: replacing, in response to a failing storage device occurs in the storage array, the failing storage device with a first spare storage device; performing component rebuild by using other storage devices in the storage array than the first spare storage device, so as to restore within the first spare storage device data in the failing storage device; performing, in parallel with the component rebuild, smart rebuild by using a second spare storage device, so as to copy data in the failing storage device to the second spare storage device; replacing the first spare storage device with the second spare storage device in the storage array upon completion of the smart rebuild.

The method comprises that: a Machine To Machine (M2M) gateway transmits an information request message to an M2M terminal requiring registration; and after the M2M gateway receives a message transmitted by the M2M terminal and responding to the information request message, the M2M gateway authenticates and verifies the M2M terminal. In the disclosure, by registering the M2M terminal on the M2M gateway, a problem in remote registration of the M2M terminal is solved, thereby providing a beneficial effect of simplifying a network connection.

The disclosure can automatically adjust an application program according to a user's use habits for different files, thereby reducing troublesome operations and enhancing the user's experience.
