  • Publication number: 20190061942
Abstract: A method is provided. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) can be operated in an autonomous mode, performing course corrections from sensor data using an object detection processor and a decision processor. The UAV can then enter a hover mode if an override condition is present and enter a remote-control mode once the UAV is in the hover mode. In the remote-control mode, flight control commands can be received via the cellular module so as to position the UAV in response to the flight control command.

  • Patent number: 10137428
Abstract: Disclosed are silica bound zeolite adsorbent particles which possess high volumetric gas adsorption capacity for the adsorption and/or desorption of gases. The adsorbent are highly effective as a gas source in volumetrically constrained applications. The silica-bound zeolite adsorbents possess a relatively high zeolite content simultaneously with a relatively low intra-particle pore volume as compared to the clay bound zeolite aggregates heretofore used as a gas source in volumetrically constrained environments, e.g. instant beverage carbonation processes, devices or systems.

  • Publication number: 20180265174
Abstract: A fin for use on a surfboard, the fin comprising: a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a base, the base comprising at least one mount for mounting the fin onto a surfboard; a first and a second outer fin surface which meet along the leading edge and the trailing edge and abut the base; and a first ridge protruding laterally from the first outer fin surface, and/or a second ridge protruding laterally from the second outer fin surface; wherein the shape and configuration of the fin creates an area of lower water pressure around and in front of the fin, as well as disrupting and/or reducing the size of trailing vortices, resulting in additional forward thrust for the board on which the fin is mounted.

  • Publication number: 20180136320
Abstract: Examples relate to a turntable peripheral for three dimensional (3D) scanning. In some examples, 3D scan data of a real-world object is obtained while the object is rotated by the turntable peripheral. • Publication number: 20180061120
Abstract: Examples relate to capturing and processing three dimensional (3D) scan data. In some examples, 3D scan data of a real-world object is obtained while the real-world object is repositioned in a number of orientations, where the 3D scan data includes 3D scan passes that are each associated with one of the orientations. A projector is used to project a visual cue related to a position of the real-world object as the real-world object is repositioned at each of the orientations. The 3D scan passes are stitched to generate a 3D model of the real-world object, where a real-time representation of the 3D model is shown on a display as each of the 3D scan passes is incorporated into the 3D model.

  • Publication number: 20160172926
Abstract: A cover for a motor drive is provided. The cover includes an opening (often at the bottom of the cover) to allow air to pass to an air inlet of the motor drive and an opening (often near the top of the cover) to allow air from an air outlet of the motor drive to exit the cover. A hood provides rain protection for the drive and a separator (such as a baffle) within the enclosure prevents air flowing within the enclosure from the air outlet to the air inlet of the drive. The hood and/or the separator are shaped to direct air from the air outlet away from the enclosure in order to substantially reduce the re-circulation of air from the air outlet to the air inlet of the drive.
