Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for capturing diagnostics data in a distributed computing environment comprising a plurality of computing devices executing a plurality of Kubernetes pods. A worker node is configured with a staging area for storing temporary diagnostics data. An agent is configured to upload the temporary diagnostics data. Each container in the worker node is assigned a directory in the staging area for writing the container's temporary diagnostics data. When a container in the worker node has written a temporary diagnostics data file to the container's directory in the staging area, the temporary diagnostics data file is uploaded to the persistent storage.

Abstract: According to some aspects, disclosed methods and systems may include determining, by a device and based on historical data associated with a first user, a first user profile comprising one or more content recommendation periods each associated with a time period and a content classification, and in response to detecting a user interaction, selecting a first content recommendation period of the one or more content recommendation periods. The methods and system may also include determining one or more content candidates corresponding to the content classification from a plurality of content assets based on an amount of remaining time in the time period associated with the first content recommendation period and a correlation between the historical data associated with the first user and one or more contextual features associated with the plurality of content assets, and transmitting, to a client device, an indication of the one or more content candidates.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for power control in a media receiver device having a plurality of electronic components, using a trained model. Input signals are received from at least one electronic component. An alertness state of the device is determined using a machine learning based determiner trained to process the received input signals and predict a subsequent alertness state identifying at least one additional component or device. Power consumption by the identified components and devices is controlled based on the predicted alertness state.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for improving speech recognition accuracy in media content searches are described. An advertisement for a media content item is analyzed to identify keywords that may describe the media content item. The identified keywords are associated with the media content item for use during a voice search to locate the media content item. A user may speak the one or more of the keywords as a search input and be provided with the media content item as a result of the search.

Abstract: A semiconductor on insulator multilayer structure is provided. The multilayer comprises a high resistivity single crystal semiconductor handle substrate, an optionally relaxed semiconductor layer comprising silicon, germanium, or silicon germanium, an optional polycrystalline silicon layer, a dielectric layer, and a single crystal semiconductor device layer.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for processing and interpreting audible commands spoken in one or more languages. Speech recognition systems disclosed herein may be used as a stand-alone speech recognition system or comprise a portion of another content consumption system. A requesting user may provide audio input (e.g., command data) to the speech recognition system via a computing device to request an entertainment system to perform one or more operational commands. The speech recognition system may analyze the audio input across a variety of linguistic models, and may parse the audio input to identify a plurality of phrases and corresponding action classifiers. In some embodiments, the speech recognition system may utilize the action classifiers and other information to determine the one or more identified phrases that appropriately match the desired intent and operational command associated with the user’s spoken command.

An interface widget may be dragged from the widget-selection section to a particular location in the form template in the form-design section. The design user interface displays an instance of the interface widget at the particular location in the form template. A different layout may be selected. The design user interface displays the instance of the interface widget at a different location in the form template in the different layout. Hence, instances of interface widgets in the form template are rearranged based on a selected layout option.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for improving speech recognition accuracy in media content searches are described. The host application may be configured as an Application Programming Interface with a customized code processing library that may configure the host application to receive further instructions remotely. The host application may be further configured to execute host code and/or third-party code. The host application may be configured to receive remote application logic, after the host application has been installed on a computing device, and to execute the received application logic to alter the behavior of the host application, such as selectively tracking end user interactions.

The program guide may filter the content based on whether the user has viewed the content (e.g., only display content the user has not viewed). A computing device storing the content may manage recording of the content based on whether the user has viewed the content (e.g., delete the recording if the user has viewed the content). A viewing history of the user may be maintained.

Abstract: A web application has a limit on the total number of concurrent users. As requests from client devices are received from users, a determination is made whether the application can accept those users. When the threshold number of users has been exceeded, new users are prevented from accessing the web application and are assigned to a queue system. A webpage may be sent to the users indicating queue status and may provide their estimated wait time. A cookie may be sent to the client for tracking the position of the user in the application queue. The users are assigned to a user bucket associated with a time interval of their initial request. When user slots become available, the users queued in the user bucket (starting from the oldest user bucket) are allowed access to the web application.
