Abstract: An I2C multi-slot circuit system includes a plurality of I2C slots for receiving a plurality of slave processors, a CPU, a logic control unit, and a I2C switch unit. The CPU determines an address of one of the I2C slots which to-be-transmitted data will be transmitted to, and generates a first logic control signal according to the determined address. The logic control unit enables the one of the I2C slots which the to-be-transmitted data will be transmitted to according to the first logic control signal. The I2C switch unit receives and transmits I2C signal converted from the to-be-transmitted data by the CPU to the I2C slot. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a solar power module for generating power and inputting information, a power management module for extracting and storing power from the solar power module, a detection unit for detect an electrical parameter variation of the solar power module and generating a detection signal corresponding to the electrical parameter, and an information processing unit for receiving the detection signal from the detection unit and executing a command corresponding to the detection signal. The solar power module has multiple solar power generation units for generating power and inputting information, and the solar power generation unit has multiple solar power generation subunits. The electrical parameter variation is generated from the solar power generation subunit when light absorbed by the solar power generation unit changes.

Abstract: A solar power module includes a solar power generation layer, a first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer. The solar power generation receives photons and includes a number of solar power generation units. The first electrode layer is connected with the solar power generation layer. The second electrode layer is connected with the solar power generation layer, and includes a number of conductive electrodes. Each conductive electrode is connected with one of the solar power generation unit. The conductive electrode transmits an electrical parameter variation of the corresponding solar power generation unit to a detection unit to transform the electrical parameter variation into corresponding input command.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a main control system, a power key, a touch screen, and a touch screen control unit. The touch screen includes a plurality of infrared emitters, a plurality of infrared receivers and an infrared light grid comprising an infrared light beam passing through the power key. The touch screen control unit includes a scan controlling module, a detecting module, and a power controlling module. The scan controlling module periodically scans the infrared light beam passing through the power key. The detecting module determines whether a blocked time of the infrared light beam passing through the power key reaches a first predetermined time period. The power controlling module powers on or off the main control system when a time of blocking the infrared light beam passing through the power key being blocked reaches the first predetermined time period. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A keyboard and a keyboard circuit, wherein the keyboard acts as an input device for a portable device or a computer. The keyboard circuit comprises an interface for connecting with the computer or the portable device, a detection circuit for detecting the logic level signal of the power supply from the computer or the portable device connected to the keyboard, and a microprocessor determining whether a computer or a portable device is connected to the keyboard in accordance with the logic level signal of the power input. The keyboard circuit uses a first communication circuit to communicate with the computer and a second communication circuit to communicate with the portable device, thus the keyboard is compatible with the computer or the portable device. The keyboard is capable of entering a sleep mode after finishing the transmission of the key codes to the computer or the portable device.

Abstract: A remote control for an electronic device comprises an input unit for generating control signals, a connector and a microprocessor. A connector with a plurality of interfaces, one end of connector is electrically connected to a transmission unit of the remote control via a data bus, each of the interfaces of the connector is configured for engaging with an interface of the electronic device for transmitting the control signals to the electronic device. The microprocessor determines which interface to transmit the control signals to the electronic device to control the electronic device to flip pages. A signal transmission method applied in a remote control for an electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: A touch detecting system for installation on a touch panel includes two point light sources arranged along one side of a touch panel, an optical sensor disposed at an opposite second side of the touch panel, at least one optical lens, and a processing unit. The at least on optical lens is disposed between the second side of the touch panel and the optical sensor. The at least one optical lens is spaced from the touch panel and the optical sensor, for directing the light from the point light sources to the optical sensor. The optical sensor captures an image which including two dark points of the light from the point light sources when a touch object is on the touch panel. The processing unit determines the position of the touch object on the touch panel based on positions of the dark points in the image.

Abstract: A connection controller and connection control method for controlling the connections of a peripheral device with a computer is provided. The connection controller can detect the connection status of the peripheral devices and initializes the peripheral device while the peripheral device is connected. The connection controller transmits an interrupt signal to the computer while the peripheral device is initialized to allow the computer to access the peripheral device. Alternatively, the connection controller generates a suspend signal to switch off the power supply track from the computer to the peripheral device, and the connection controller will then be suspended without unloading the driver of the peripheral device to eliminate the repetition of loading and unloading the driver of the peripheral device.

Abstract: A multidimensional display apparatus includes a main display screen divided into at least three display areas including a first centre display area and at least two surrounded display areas, at least two reflective elements, and at least three display surfaces. The reflective elements are arranged above and inclined with respect to the second display areas, and a reflection surface of each of the reflective elements faces the corresponding second display area. One of the display surfaces is above the first display area, and the other two are corresponding to the second display areas, facing the reflection surfaces of the reflective elements. The contents displayed on the first display area is viewable on the display surface above, and the contents displayed on the second display areas are reflected by the corresponding reflection surfaces of the reflective elements and viewable on the other two display surfaces.

The plurality of solar cells generates electrical signals in response to a user's operations to activate functions of the electronic device. The first electrode is disposed between the substrate and the solar cell layer. Both the first and second electrodes are electrically connected to each of the plurality of solar cells for transmitting the electrical signals to the electronic device. The electrical signals reflect changes of electrical parameters of one or more solar cells of the plurality of solar cells when light beams are blocked from reaching on, wholly or partially, the one or more solar cells.

The comparing module determines whether the communication list comprises a contact number which is the same as the old contact number in the business card. The second updating module updates the communication list.

Abstract: A remote controller with touch screen is used for controlling an electronic device. The remote controller includes a housing, a storage unit, an interface unit, and a processing unit. A remote control interface is displayed on the touch screen. The remote control interface includes at least one virtual key, and the at least one virtual key produces a corresponding trigger signal in response to user's touch. The processing unit identifies the remote code after receiving the trigger signal, and drives the interface unit to emit the corresponding coded pulse to the electronic device, and at the same time the processing unit drives the touch screen to display the next level remote control interface.

Abstract: An electronic device for accessing wireless network includes a radio frequency (RF) module, a power supply management unit, a CPU and a data transmission interface. The RF module receives electromagnetic wave signal from networks and transmits electromagnetic wave signals to the networks. The data transmission interface transmits the electromagnetic wave signals from the RF module to the CPU, and transmits data and commands between the RF module and the CPU. When the electronic device does not communicate with a remote server on the networks during a predetermined time period, the CPU suspends the data transmission interface. A related method of saving resource is also provided.

The state recording unit obtains the real-time values of predetermined state parameters when the input signals are received. The state analysis unit analyzes whether the times of an operation under a same state parameter value or in same state parameter value range has reached or equal to a predetermined number of times within a predetermined time period. If yes, the state analysis unit determines the operation is a habit and the state parameter value corresponding to the operation is the state parameter value of the habit. The processing unit executes a task corresponding to the habit.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a content display module, a storage, and a reading control module. A guidance list is stored in the storage, which defines a relationship between users and guidance behaviors relating to the users, the guidance behaviors includes guide speeds and word changes corresponding to the user. The reading control module includes a font changing sub-module and a page flipping control module. The font changing sub-module searches the guidance list to obtain the guide speed and the word changes corresponding to a particular user, and controls the fonts of the words on a current page of the file to change sequentially according to the guide speed and the word changes. The flipping control sub-module signals the content display module to flip to a next page when the current page is finished. A related method of guide reading is also provided.

Abstract: A protection circuit for protecting a rechargeable battery is provided. The protection circuit includes a voltage-threshold generating unit and a comparing unit. The voltage-threshold generating unit is for generating a threshold voltage. The comparing unit is for comparing the threshold voltage to the rechargeable battery voltage and outputting a charging enable signal or a charging disable signal according to the comparison result. The comparing unit outputs the charging enable signal if the amplitude of the threshold voltage is lower than that of the rechargeable battery, or outputs the charging disable signal as the amplitude of the threshold voltage is equal to or higher than that of the rechargeable battery. A battery charger apparatus using the protection circuit is also provided.
