Abstract: A solar power supply device includes a solar panel and a rechargeable battery. The solar panel is configured to collect and convert optical energy to electrical energy. The solar power supply device further includes an e-paper display unit, a charging connection connecting to a rechargeable device. A detecting unit detecting the charging state information of the rechargeable device via the charging connection, a light-operated unit detecting ambient illumination intensity, and a processing unit for controlling the e-paper display unit to display charging states information obtained from the detecting unit and the ambient illumination intensity detected by the light-operated unit.

Abstract: An IR controlling device includes a display panel, a number of IR emitters, a number of IR receivers, and a receiving controller. The IR emitters and the IR receivers are staggered under the display panel, and facing the display panel. The IR emitters are to emit IR beams in sequence, and the IR receivers are to receive the IR beams reflected by an external object. The receiving controller generates a plurality of response signals corresponding to the IR receivers. An IR processing unit receives the response signals, and determines a virtual position of the external object on the display panel. A controlling unit outputs a control signal and executes a corresponding function. A display processing unit receives the control signal and updates the content on the display panel.

Abstract: A customer terminal is provided. The customer terminal includes a receiving module and a decryption module. The receiving module receives an encrypted digital content from a database server connected thereto. A predetermined encryption key encrypts the encrypted digital content. The decryption module decrypts the encrypted digital content utilizing hardware information from the customer terminal. A database server and a protection method are also provided to prevent an unauthorized customer terminal from copying digital contents.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus capable of saving power is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a buffer, a central processing unit (CPU), and a power supply unit. The power supply unit includes a mechanical switch circuit, a first switch circuit, and a second switch circuit. The first switch circuit is capable of being turned on by the mechanical switch circuit to receive power from a power input port and providing power to the buffer. The second switch circuit is capable of being turned on by the mechanical switch circuit to receive power from the power input port through the first switch circuit and providing power to the CPU, and the CPU being operable to generate a control signal to turn off the second switch circuit to interrupt the power provided to the CPU.

Abstract: A method for testing electronic apparatuses is provided. The method includes: reading an identification (ID) of an emulator adapter; searching for the script name in a test table according to the ID; fetching the script from a storage according to the determined script name and running the fetched script to pass each of input commands; and receiving and identifying each of the input commands to simulate a key input via an electrical conductive path, correspondingly to the input command, of the emulator adapter, such that an input key corresponding to the key input of the to-be-tested electronic apparatus is activated and the to-be-tested electronic apparatus performs a function associated with the input key correspondingly. A related test apparatus is also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery charging control circuit. The charging control circuit includes: a constant-current charging unit and a trickle charging unit. The charging control circuit further includes a branch switch, a control unit, and a detection unit. The branch switch is connected between a power source and the rechargeable battery for enabling or disabling the constant-current charging unit. The control unit is between the constant-current charging unit and the branch switch for controlling the branch switch. The detection unit is used to detect a state of the rechargeable battery. If the detection unit detects the state of the rechargeable battery is correspond to a predetermined state, then the control unit controls the branch switch to disable the constant-current charging unit and enable the trickle charging unit.

Abstract: A method for outputting multimedia files and broadcast contents of a selected television (TV) channels on the DPF in a picture-in-picture (PIP) output mode is provided. The method includes: starting the PIP output mode when the DPF plays multimedia files under a DPF mode; defining a PIP region on the DPF; receiving broadcasts of a selected TV channel; and outputting the multimedia files and the broadcast contents of the selected TV channel in the PIP output mode. A related DPF is also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a charging control circuit for a rechargeable battery. The charging control circuit includes: a constant-current charging unit and a trickle charging unit. The charging control circuit further includes a branch switch, a detection switch, a control unit, and a detection unit. The branch switch is connected between a power source and the rechargeable battery for enabling or disabling the constant-current charging unit, the detection switch is turned on or off depending on the enable or disable state of the constant-current charging unit. Abstract: An LED display device providing current correction includes a number of LED modules, a microprocessor, and a storage unit storing a standard voltage value. The correction sequence begins with each of the plurality of LED modules entering a work state in sequence, outputting a feedback voltage indicating work current of one of the LED modules to the microprocessor in sequence, comparing the feedback voltage with the standard voltage, adjusting the current of the LED module if the feedback voltage does not equal the standard voltage.

Abstract: A power switch circuit providing voltage to an output port is provided. The switch circuit includes a single power supply, a switch unit, a controlling unit, and a logic unit. The switch unit is connected between the single power supply and an output port and capable of being turned on and off alternatively for continuing or discontinuing power from the single power supply to the output port; the single power supply provides power to the output port. The controlling unit is configured for generating a voltage controlling signal and transmitting the voltage controlling signal to the logic unit. The logic unit receives and inverts the voltage controlling signal, and outputs the inverted voltage controlling signal to turn on or turn off the switch unit.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display unit and a touch panel. The display unit includes at least two display areas, wherein each of the display areas has a unique operation frequency. The touch panel is installed in front of the display unit and includes at least two touch areas corresponding to the display areas, each of the touch areas is scanned with a unique scan frequency corresponding to the unique operation frequency of the corresponding display area. Through partition design for the GUI, the electronic device can respectively scan the touch areas, which replace the existing scanning method to scan the whole touch panel, and it is more efficient.

The switch module is configured to enable or disable the touch pad in response to user operations, and generate an operation signal. The operation signal is an enabling signal or a disabling signal. The CPU generates a control signal and a display signal upon receiving the enabling signal or the disabling signal from the switch module. The touch control module enables or disables the touch pad corresponding to the control signal, and the display control module controls to divide a display area into a first display area and a second display area to display content or recombine the first display area and second display area together and display the non-operable interface.

Abstract: A displaying device includes an input unit, a region defining unit, a content allocating unit, an obtaining unit, a display controlling unit and a display unit. The region defining unit defines regions by incorporating one or more unit regions in each of the regions according to users' selections and generates region defining information. The content allocating unit allocates contents for the regions according to the users' selections and generates content allocating information. The obtaining unit obtains the region defining information, the content allocating information, and contents according to the content allocating information, and then transmits the information and contents to the display controlling unit. The display controlling unit splits a display area of the display unit into the regions defined by the region defining unit and displays the contents in the regions correspondingly according to the content allocating information. The method includes: receiving search parameters input by users during a DPF mode of the DPF; searching in a pre-stored TV program schedule to find TV programs matched the search parameters; determining whether any of the TV programs matched the search parameters is on or about to start at the current time; displaying a program list showing information at least on the “currently on” or “about to start” TV programs among the matched TV programs; switching the DPF from the DPF mode to a TV mode if a “currently on” or “about to start” TV program is selected to play; and receiving and playing the selected TV program. Abstract: A method for controlling an intelligent lamp to work automatically according to people's habit includes generating a table in the memory, the table records values of a group of operational parameters of the intelligent lamp each time a user operates the intelligent lamp. Determining a frequent event and an accidental event in the predetermined time period in one day in last one week/month/year. Then obtaining all values of the operational parameters of the frequent events, and respectively calculating an accuracy value for each operational parameter according to an algorithm. In addition, controlling the lighting unit to work according to the accuracy values of the operational parameters, thus, an intelligent lamp for automatically working according to people's habit is also provided.

The wireless communication unit connects to a network and downloads an electronic program list and a plurality of infrared codes from a network. The processing unit generates a channel-infrared code list and a selected program list according to the operations of the users on a user interfaces provided by the display unit and stored in the storage. The processing unit obtains the infrared code corresponding to the channel of a selected program from the channel-infrared code list, and transmits the infrared code to the infrared transmitting unit, thereby the infrared transmitting unit emits infrared remote signals carrying the infrared code to the TV set to change to the channel providing selected program. Abstract: An electronic reader includes a first display, a second display, a hinge, a comparing unit, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a swipe page unit unit. The hinge is rotatably connected to the first display and the second display. The first sensor is used for sensing the angle which the first display rotates relative to the hinge. The second sensor is used for sensing the angle which the second display rotates relative to the hinge. The comparing unit compares the rotation angles of the first display and the second display to obtain a comparison result. The swipe page unit turns one or more pages based on the comparison result and updates the first display and the second display accordingly. The disclosure also discloses a method of turning pages.
