    Abstract: A medical image reconstruction method includes: obtaining real projection data collected by a medical imaging device; obtaining an inverse matrix corresponding to the medical imaging device that is physically stored in advance, in which the inverse matrix is obtained by performing an inverse operation based on a system matrix corresponding to the medical imaging device, and the system matrix indicating a geometrical relationship between projection rays of the medical imaging device at each view angle and of reconstructed image pixels; and determining a reconstructed image of the real projection data according to the real projection data and the inverse matrix. By storing a large inverse matrix of the system matrix, rapid image reconstruction may be achieved through the inverse matrix and the real projection data, reconstruction efficiency of a medical image may be improved, and wide application and development of iterative reconstruction technology in clinical practice may be promoted.

    Abstract: Techniques for inferring whether an event is occurring in 3D space based on 2D image data and for maintaining a camera's calibration are disclosed. An image of an environment is accessed. Input is received, where the input includes a 2D rule imposed against a ground plane. The 2D rule includes conditions indicative of an event. A bounding box is generated and encompasses a detected object. A point within the bounding box is projected from a 2D-space image plane of the image into 3D space to generate a 3D-space point. Based on the 3D-space point, a 3D-space ground contact point is generated. That 3D-space ground contact point is reprojected onto the ground plane of the image to generate a synthesized 2D ground contact point. A location of the synthesized 2D ground contact point is determined to satisfy the conditions.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for recovering room-type coal pillars by cemented filling of reserved roadways, which is especially suitable for safe and efficient recovery of left coal pillars in room-type mining faces in mining areas where the ecological system is fragile, such as in western China. In the method, by constructing reserved roadways in two adjacent rows of room-type goafs, excavating coal pillar roadways in room-type coal pillars, and finally interconnecting the reserved roadways with the coal pillar roadways to form a U-shaped working face, room-type left coal pillars are recovered. Thus, not only the workload of roadway excavation is reduced, but also the recovery ratio of the coal resources is maximized. The method provides a novel technical model for the recovery of room-type left coal pillars in mining areas, such as in western China.
