  • Publication number: 20230189266
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may support communicating uplink control messages over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) using a time domain waveform. For example, the base station may configure the UE with a first group of PUCCH resource sets associated with a first type of time domain waveform and a second group of PUCCH resource sets associated with a second type of time domain waveform. The base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) to the UE that indicates a type of time domain waveform and a PUCCH resource of a PUCCH resource set. In response, the UE may select the PUCCH resource set from either the first group or the second group and may transmit an uplink control message using the indicated PUCCH resource and type of time domain waveform.

  • Publication number: 20230189267
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling from a base station that schedules the UE to transmit a second uplink signal using a second spatial relationship following transmission of a first uplink signal using a first spatial relationship. The second uplink signal may be scheduled within a beam switching gap associated with switching from the first spatial relationship to the second spatial relationship. In some examples, the UE may transmit the second uplink signal using the first spatial relationship, rather than switching to using the second spatial relationship. In some examples, the UE may shorten the first uplink signal or the second uplink signal (or both) to accommodate the beam switching gap.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for artificial intelligence-based virtual meeting presentation oversight are provided. A stream of a virtual meeting having a first computer designated for screen sharing control is received. A broadcast hindrance update from the first computer is received. The broadcast hindrance update is input into a machine learning model. As output from the machine learning model a recommendation regarding switching of the screen sharing control is received. In response to the receiving and to the recommendation indicating that the screen sharing control should be switched, a control switching signal is sent to a second computer participating in the virtual meeting.

  • Publication number: 20230179323
Abstract: In a wireless network, a frame structure may include a padding duration at the start of every half subframe to ensure that an integer number of symbols fit within a duration of the half subframe. In some aspects, to avoid wasting time domain resources, the padding duration may be utilized for other purposes. For example, because a single carrier waveform is not bound to a fixed Fast Fourier Transform size, a wireless node may use the padding duration to transmit a single carrier symbol that has a shorter length than a full symbol associated with a subcarrier spacing. Additionally, or alternatively, in cases where a wireless node is configured to transmit or receive a signal in a first symbol of a half subframe that is associated with a different power level than a preceding symbol, the padding duration may be used to adapt a transmit power or a receive gain.
