The communication control method includes forwarding, by the relay node in response to reception of the recovery attempt notification, a first packet received from the first parent node to a child node of the relay node and a second packet received from the child node to a second parent node that is a parent node of the relay node.

In one example, when a current communication route from the remote UE device to a communication device through a first relay UE device includes a first sidelink PCS link that has quality less than a preferred quality threshold, the remote UE device evaluates candidate relay UE devices. The remote UE device selects the second relay UE device where the candidate relay UE device provides a communication route with a second sidelink PCS link with a quality greater than the preferred quality threshold and where the quality of the first sidelink PCS link is below a minimum quality threshold and the second sidelink PCS link has a quality above the minimum quality threshold. Otherwise, the remote UE device continues to communicate over the first communication route through the first relay UE device.

After determining an unlicensed channel is unoccupied, the UE device transmits a measurement report over the unlicensed channel to the serving gNB.     Abstract: A neighboring cell determines that uplink interference from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) exceeds a first threshold at the neighboring cell. The neighboring cell transmits an uplink interference indicator to the UAV. In some examples, the UAV informs its serving cell of the uplink interference experienced by the neighboring cell. The serving cell can utilize information received from the UAV to make handover decisions or scheduling decisions for the UAV that caused the uplink interference. In other examples, the UAV can temporarily refrain from transmitting on at least some of its uplink resources or utilize different uplink resources for uplink data transmissions. In still other examples, the UAV can utilize downlink measurements to select which neighboring base station System Information Block messages should be monitored for an uplink interference indicator.

When the first wireless communication device determines that the reservation signals have at least one common identified time-slot, the first wireless communication device transmits a forwarded reservation signal, which identifies the time-slots reserved by the wireless communication device with the higher data priority level, to the wireless communication device with a lower data priority level. The wireless communication device that receives the forwarded reservation signal determines whether to transmit data during the time-slots identified in the forwarded reservation signal.
