The first memory cell transistor comprises a first gate electrode formed above a first channel region, and a second gate electrode formed on a side of the first gate electrode through an insulating film. The second memory cell transistor comprises a third gate electrode formed above a second channel region, and a fourth gate electrode formed on a side of the third gate electrode through an insulating film and facing the second gate electrode. The connection layer connects the second gate electrode and the fourth gate electrode. The protrusion portions are formed of a material different than that of the second and fourth gate electrodes, and are formed on both ends of the connection layer. If it is determined that the system policy is to be applied, the user's operation rights with respect to the device are restricted based on the system policy irrespective of whether or not operation rights have been set.

Abstract: In an information processing apparatus capable of direct or indirect communication with a printing apparatus, upon notification of processing status of a printing job, first identification information indicating a log-in user upon generation and transmission of the printing job is obtained. Then, upon reception of notification information indicating a processing state of the printing job from an external apparatus, second identification information indicating a log-in user at that time is obtained. It is determined whether or not the notification information is to be notified by comparing the first identification information obtained regarding a printing job corresponding to the received notification information with the second identification information obtained upon reception of the notification information.
