  • Patent number: 5693934
Abstract: Photocurrents outputted by photo detecting circuits (1.sub.1 to 1.sub.n) disposed in first current paths (2.sub.1 to 2.sub.n) are amplified by current amplifying means (3.sub.1 to 3.sub.n) disposed in the first current paths (2.sub.1 to 2.sub.n), respectively. The output currents from the plurality of current amplifying means (3.sub.1 to 3.sub.n) are converted into voltage all by one current-voltage converting means (5). The current amplifying means (3.sub.1 to 3.sub.n) are turned on or off by control signals (3.sub.1S to 3.sub.nS), and therefore the luminance detecting circuit amplifies the current of the required photo detecting element only, and outputs into the current-voltage converting means (5).

  • Patent number: 5515260
Abstract: A current-voltage conversion circuit which is capable of performing logarithmic compression is obtained using only CMOS processes. An emitter of a PNP transistor (10) and a current input terminal (51) are connected commonly to a reverse input terminal of an operational amplifier (53), while a first reference voltage input terminal is connected to a non-reverse input terminal of the operational amplifier (53). A collector of the PNP transistor (10) is grounded and a base of the PNP transistor (10) is connected to an output terminal of the operational amplifier (53) and an output terminal (55). A current (I) is supplied to the current input terminal (51) while a first reference voltage (V.sub.REF1) is applied to the first reference voltage input terminal. The PNP transistor (10) is formed by CMOS processes. The current-voltage conversion circuit is manufactured in a shorter manufacturing time and at a reduced cost.

  • Patent number: 5229616
Abstract: In an exposure light source for use in exposing a pattern onto a substrate, an exposure lamp substantially encloses only a single isotope of a specific metal. The single isotope emits far ultraviolet light which has a very narrow bandwidth when vaporized and excited in the exposure lamp. Preferably, the single isotope may have a nuclear spin equal to zero and is effective to make the bandwidth of the far ultraviolet light narrower. The single isotope may be determined in consideration of an abundance ratio of each isotope. The specific metal may be selected from a group consisting of mercury, lead, zinc, and cadmium.

  • Patent number: 4815514
Abstract: To improve traveling stability, riding comfort, high-speed durability, etc., the uniformity in the main belt of a belted tire is improved by dividing an auxiliary layer into at least three areas in an axial direction of the tire, and both ends of the three divided auxiliary layers are bonded in the divided areas at different bonding positions, respectively, in circumferentially spaced relationship to each other. In particular, lateral force variation of the tire is reduced and separation trouble at the auxiliary layer bonding area can be settled.

  • Patent number: 4577154
Abstract: A pulse width modulation circuit which can cancel the mean error of pulse width modulation with respect to time due to the offset voltage of a triangular wave signal and to the offset voltage of a comparator, by adding simple circuits to an existing pulse width modulation circuit. The invention relates also to an integration circuit of the product of two analog signals using the pulse width modulation circuit described above. The principle of the present invention combines a circuit for cancelling the offset of a triangular wave signal by inverting either the triangular wave signal with respect to an input signal or the input signal with respect to the triangular wave signal, in every predetermined period, with a circuit for eliminating the offset of a comparator by inverting the output of the comparator and replacing the input terminals of the comparator if the input signal is not inverted, or connecting the input terminal of the comparator as such if the input signal is inverted.

  • Patent number: 4321793
Abstract: A pair of pumps deliver pressurized fluid to a steering control valve assembly controlling the operation of a steering cylinder. The steering control valve assembly diverts any excess of the incoming pressurized fluid to a hoist control valve assembly controlling the operation of a pair of implement hoist cylinders. The hoist control valve assembly also diverts any excess of the incoming fluid away from the hoist cylinder pair, this time to a retarder or brake system for cooling same. The retarder receives additional cooling fluid from a hydraulic torque converter, to which the fluid has been forced from another pump. On leaving the retarder the pressurized fluid is cooled and then delivered to a transmission lubricating circuit.

  • Patent number: 4079946
Abstract: A phonograph record turntable assembly comprises a rotatable turntable having a rubber or other elastically flexible sheet overlying a substantial portion of its upper surface and secured thereto at least along an edge or edges of the sheet for defining at least one sealed interior space which contains a fluid material, preferably in the form of a viscous liquid, so as to provide a cushioned, vibration-damping record supporting surface which conforms to the shape of a warped or otherwise distorted phonograph record placed thereon. In order to avoid the accumulation of the liquid at any one portion of the interior space when the turntable is not horizontally disposed, such interior space may be divided into a plurality of liquid-containing compartments which are isolated from each other, as by partitions therebetween, and/or each interior space or compartment may further contain absorbent material which takes up the viscous liquid.

  • Patent number: 4040255
Abstract: For automatically terminating the operation of the vibrator in a self-propelled roller compactor when the vehicle is at rest or travelling slowly, a variable displacement pump driving the hydraulic motor of the vibrator is provided with a servo control mechanism including a spring-neutralized linear actuator capable of adjustably varying the per-cycle displacement of the pump by receiving hydraulic fluid pressure from another pump. Provided between the servo control mechanism and the said other pump is an on-off valve which is closed when the vehicle speed becomes less than a predetermined value, with the result that the actuator is neutralized to zero the displacement of the variable displacement pump. The on-off valve can be operated from an operator controlled shift lever, so as to be closed when the lever is in or adjacent a neutral position.
