    Abstract: A pre-processing and fulfillment system and method are described. In some implementations, the method may include receiving an order containing a retail component and a pharmacy component, processing the order for the pharmacy component and the retail component, and generating a tracking token identifying the order and authorizing a party to receive a component of the order. The method may include transmitting fulfillment instructions to a fulfillment system based on processed information for the order, and transmitting the tracking token to a computing device of the authorized party. Some implementations may also include receiving a signal indicating receipt of the tracking token and an authorized transfer of the component, and updating a status of the order based on the received signal.

A processor extracts a second set of keywords from at least one unstructured document. A processor compares the first batch of keywords to the second set of keywords. A processor determines that the at least one unstructured document matches, based on a predetermined threshold, the at least one structured document, based on the comparison of the first batch of keywords to the second set of keywords. A processor removes the at least one unstructured document from a list of unstructured documents which are to be processed.

    Abstract: An offline to online booking of a street-hailed vehicle by a passenger includes scanning a quick response (QR) code or a near-field communication (NFC) sticker associated with the street-hailed vehicle. Based on the scanning, QR or NFC information is retrieved from the QR code or the NFC sticker, respectively. The QR or NFC information is further processed to determine an availability of the street-hailed vehicle for allocation to the passenger. The street-hailed vehicle is further allocated to the passenger based on successful conversion of the offline to online booking of the street-hailed vehicle. A driver of the street-hailed vehicle transports the passenger from a current location to a destination location based on the allocation.

    Abstract: A method and system for evaluating physiological properties of a segment of blood vessel is provided. The method includes: acquiring a first measurement and a second measurement respectively at the first point and the second point; obtaining a transfer function configured to produce an output given an input, using the first measurement and the second measurement as the input and the output respectively; and determining the physiological properties of the section of the blood vessel based on the transfer function. The transfer function can be a velocity transfer function based on the blood velocity waveforms, or can be a pressure transfer function based on the blood pressure waveforms. The method and system can be used to non-invasively diagnose PH, COPD, and PA impedance in a pulmonary artery, and to detect a stenosis in a coronary artery.

    Abstract: A sliding window buffer is implemented on a local computing device that places chunks of content from a data source into a local buffer for transmission on a per-chunk basis. A portion of memory in the local buffer can be re-used for a single data transmission operation until the content is fully transmitted to a remote computing device. Logical positions on the local buffer which correlate to inner positions on the data source are utilized to enable the sliding window buffer to retrieve and retransmit chunks of data, if necessary. An inner position indicates a byte location in the data source and a logical position indicates a corresponding byte position in the local buffer. The local computing device can utilize byte positions to retrieve and re-transmit chunks of data if, for example, the device fails to receive an acknowledgement from the remote computing device for any of the data.

    Abstract: A computerized information processing method for evaluating blood vessels is provided. The method includes acquiring a series of sequences of measurements, each at different time points in at least one cardiac cycle and at a different point along a blood vessel segment of a subject, generating corresponding profiles, calculating a transfer function for a subsegment between two selected points along a blood flow direction, and based thereon determining the physiological property of the subsegment. The measurements can contain information of blood velocity or blood pressure. A processing device and system implementing the information processing method are also provided. This approach can be used to evaluate arteries or veins and can be applied in screening, diagnosis, or prognosis of a variety of vascular diseases. For example, when combined with MRI scan, this approach can be used for non-invasively diagnosing pulmonary hypertension (PH) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), etc.

Data packets may be extracted from a multimedia stream received over a network. The sequence of independently decodable units associated with the multimedia stream may be decoded. Each independently decodable unit may include one or more data packets. The sequence of decoded units may be stored in an output buffer. Further, flow of the decoded units from the output buffer to an output device may be controlled based on one of (a) a latency associated with the decoded units and (b) a rate of reception of the decoded units by the output buffer and a rate at which the output device is operating. The decoded units may be rendered on the output device.
