  • Patent number: 7536153
Abstract: With a capacitor C inserted in an interstage portion of multiple stages of amplifier circuits, a high pass filter is generated by the capacitor C and an input impedance |Z| of an amplifier circuit in the next stage. Accordingly, frequency components lower than a cutoff frequency fc are cut off, and therefore are not transferred to the subsequent stage. However, radio frequency components higher than or equal to a fundamental wave component determined by an envelope of a radio frequency signal intermittently transmitted can be transferred. Consequently, transfer of DC offset potentials can be cut off, and noise, such as flicker noise, having great power in a DC or near-DC zone can be effectively cut off. Thereby, the S/N ratio, detection sensitivity, and detection accuracy can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20090096402
Abstract: A drive circuit of a fan motor is provided. In an embodiment of the drive circuit, a first PWM comparator compares a temperature detection voltage with a cyclic voltage, and outputs a first PWM signal. A second PWM comparator compares a minimum frequency setting voltage indicating a minimum frequency of the fan motor, with the cyclic voltage, and outputs a second PWM signal. The drive circuit combines the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal by a logical operation, to drive the fan motor. The drive circuit includes a first logic gate which generates a logical sum of the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal, and a second logic gate which generates a logical product of the first PWM signal and an inverted signal of the second PWM signal. The drive circuit switches drive mode based on the first logic gate and the second logic gate.

  • Publication number: 20090066280
Abstract: A motor driving circuit generates pulse driving signals, and controls the ON/OFF state of a switching circuit connected to a coil of a motor which is to be driven, thereby controlling the conduction period of the motor. A driving signal generating circuit generates the driving signals such that they are pulse modulated according to the torque target value for the motor, and outputs the driving signals to the switching circuit. A current detection circuit detects the current flowing through the coil of the motor. A current limiting circuit controls the logical values of the driving signals generated by the driving signal generating circuit such that the current detected by the current detection circuit does not exceed a predetermined current upper limit. The current limiting circuit increases the current upper limit according to the time elapsed in the starting operation of the motor. After the starting operation of the motor, the current upper limit is set to a predetermined fixed value.

  • Publication number: 20080272724
Abstract: A fan motor driving circuit controls an energized state of a fan motor by performing on and off control of a switching circuit connected to a coil of the fan motor of a driving object. A variable reference voltage circuit generates a voltage whose voltage level changes with time by charging or discharging a capacitor at the start of starting up the fan motor. A drive signal combining unit generates drive signals on the basis of the voltage when at least starting up, and performs on and off control of the switching circuit by the drive signals. An initialization circuit initializes the capacitor before starting up with a transition from off to on of a power supply voltage to be supplied to the fan motor driving circuit as a turning point.

  • Patent number: 7398922
Abstract: A POS terminal apparatus is adapted to be connected to an external device. With an application running in the POS terminal apparatus, a device manager determines whether the external device is capable of counting a first value indicating a usage amount of the external device, and if so, the device manager acquires the first value from the external device in response to a first command from the application. A counter retains a second value indicating the usage amount of the external device and notifies the second value to the application in response to a second command from the application. If it is determined that the external device is not capable of counting the first value, the counter virtually counts the second value in accordance with a third command sent from the application to the external device. An updater updates the second value with a third value which is obtained by a fourth command from the application. The first value is retained even when the second value is updated with the third value.

  • Publication number: 20080003639
Abstract: Soyasapogenol B is biosynthesized via two steps of hydroxylation reaction of its precursor ?-amyrin. However, the gene of the hydroxylase concerned in this reaction has not been revealed. Therefore, it was impossible to apply a genetic engineering technique on the hydroxylase. The present inventors reveals that a sequence which corresponds to a soybean-derived cytochrome P-450 gene CYP93E1 encodes an enzyme protein that carries out hydroxylation of the 24-position of an oleanane type triterpene, and also provides a method for applying said gene making use of a genetic engineering technique.
