  • Patent number: 6692214
Abstract: A pusher 13 has a leaf spring 12, a driving section 22, a direction changing section 23, and guides 24. The driving section 22 nips the leaf spring to longitudinally advance and retract it. Advancement of a fore end of the leaf spring 12 in a pushing direction causes the object facing the leaf spring to be pushed from a first position to a second position. A direction changing section 23 bends the tail end of the leaf spring relative to the fore end so as to change the direction of advancement and retraction. Guides 24 guide the fore and tail ends with respect to the direction changing section.

  • Publication number: 20030135664
Abstract: A control system having multiple connected devices runs a common initialization process in response to initialization requests for multiple devices. When a power supply switch 26 turns on and power is supplied simultaneously to each of multiple devices (S100), an ID number is assigned to the power on signal and sent to each device service object (DS) 34 (S106). Each service object DS 34 then outputs an initialization request to the initialization object 42 (S108). The initialization object 42 runs a common initialization process for the multiple initialization requests (S110, S112), and when initialization is completed sends an initialization completion report to each service object DS 34 (S114).

  • Publication number: 20030061021
Abstract: A simplified control system provides a uniform interface to a Java-based POS application. A new interface defining a method SetEntry for passing an entry point to a database to a device service object is created in the device service object which loads this interface as a rule. This allows greater freedom designing the device service object and makes it possible to write better service objects. Device service objects for other manufacturers and other types of devices can also be loaded by a shared factory class, and a simpler JavaPOS system can be provided at low cost.

  • Patent number: 6432373
Abstract: In an apparatus for selectively reduction-removing nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas in presence of catalyst by spraying aqueous solid reducing agent solution into exhaust gas flowing through a duct to mix the reducing agent into exhaust gas, the present invention prevents nozzle-clogging caused by the reducing agent or its reaction product, permits stable and continuous spraying and uniform mixing of the reducing agent solution into exhaust gas, and thus removes nitrogen oxides at a high efficiency. The nozzle is cooled by supplying at least one of water and gas before supplying the solution into the nozzle. Upon discontinuing supply of the solution to the nozzle, at least one of water and gas is supplied to remove the solution remaining in the nozzle. The solution stored at high concentration is sprayed after diluting it with water in the course of transfer for spraying. A line for supplying water for diluting is added to the line for supplying the solution.
