  • Patent number: 7033958
Abstract: A semiconductor apparatus is provided that is thermally stable in a post process and is suitable for fabricating a gate insulator having a laminated structure with various high permittivity oxides, and a process is provided for producing the same. In order to achieve a high function formation of a gate insulator, a silicon nitride film having a specific inductive capacity approximately twice as much as that of silicon oxide, and which is thermally stable, is not provided with a Si—H bond and is used as at least a portion of the gate insulator. Further, an effective thickness of a gate insulator forming a multilayered structure insulator laminated with a metal oxide having a high dielectric constant, in conversion to silicon oxide, can be thinned to less than 3 nm while restraining leakage current.

  • Publication number: 20040257621
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and program of image processing for generating graphics data according to picture description instructions based on original image data of full-color, and a medium for storing the program. The method, apparatus, and program include a chromatic tester, an obtainer, a color converter, and a converting condition designator. The chromatic tester determines whether a pixel of the original image data is chromatic or achromatic. The obtainer obtains an image property of the pixel. The color converter converts the original image data into CMYK data for printing according to a predetermined converting condition. The converting condition designator designates a type of the predetermined converting condition for the pixel determined as achromatic by the chromatic tester according to the image property obtained by the obtainer.

  • Publication number: 20040111665
Abstract: It is determined whether drawing process corresponding to a graphical drawing instruction, out of a plurality of graphical drawing instructions, can be omitted based on a drawing attribute of a pattern corresponding to the graphical drawing instruction. A selection unit makes the graphical drawing instruction invalid if the drawing omission determination unit determines that the drawing process can be omitted, and makes other graphical drawing instructions valid. An output unit outputs to an information processing apparatus the other graphical drawing instructions to get an image corresponding to the other graphical drawing instructions printed.

  • Publication number: 20040027617
Abstract: A drawing instruction processor refers to a bitmap line table that shows whether the bit arrays in the row unit are the same in the order of concentrations. The drawing instruction processor decides whether dither patterns to be used for the adjacent specified drawing ranges are the same, by referring to the BLT, and links the drawing ranges to which the same pattern can be applied. Based on this, the drawing processor carries out a batch writing using a dither pattern prepared in advance into the specified range in the page memory. The dither pattern to be used for the drawing is prepared by linking a plurality of the same basic patterns to have a length corresponding to the length of the word length. As a result of such an arrangement, it is possible to achieve a high-speed processing.

  • Patent number: 6676556
Abstract: A motor deice for actuating a vehicle door operation device is operated by the rotational torque inputted from a electric motor to operate a latch mechanism. The rotational torque of the motor is inputted to a sun gear body of a planetary gear mechanism to rotate each of several planetary gears via a ring gear body fixed against rotation. A carrier is rotated by the rotation of the planetary gears and an output shaft operates the latch operation mechanism. The ring gear body is fixed against rotation by engaging an engagement-disengagement block with an outer gear portion through application of a force of a spring. By applying the opening operation to a door handle, an engagement-disengagement operation member is rotated to retract the engagement-disengagement block. Then, the ring gear body is released to be rotated to interrupt a power transmission condition between the motor and the output shaft.

  • Patent number: 6145354
Abstract: A door lock system has a closing mechanism for bringing an ajar condition of a door into a fully closed condition. The fully closed condition of the door is locked for the sake of safety by the locking operation of a locking-and-unlocking mechanism. The locked condition of the door is released by an unlocking operation of the locking-and-unlocking mechanism. Moreover, by actuating a double lock mechanism, the door under the locked condition is further brought into a double-looked condition under which the unlocking operation of the locking-and-unlocking mechanism cannot be established. The closing mechanism, the locking and-unlocking mechanism, and the double lock mechanism are driven by a common electric motor thus allowing the door lock mechanism to be reduced in size and manufactured less expensively.
