Abstract: An LC resonant circuit of an oscillator includes a parallel circuit of an inductor, a first fine adjustable capacitor and a first capacitor bank, and a series circuit of a second fine adjustable capacitor and a second capacitor bank. A frequency conversion gain of the oscillator is the sum of a frequency conversion gain of the oscillator based upon the first fine adjustable capacitor which decreases according to increase of a capacitance value of the capacitor bank and a frequency conversion gain based upon the second fine adjustable capacitor which increases according to increase of a capacitance value of the second capacitor bank. Accordingly, an LC resonant circuit for an oscillator with reduced fluctuation of a frequency conversion gain, and an oscillator and a data processing equipment using the same are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070084551
Abstract: A method and apparatus for laser welding two members made of thermoplastic resin material whereby high welding strength can be achieved and strength variations can be reduced. A first member 2 comprised of a transmissive thermoplastic resin that transmits a laser beam is brought into contact with a second member 3 comprised of an absorptive thermoplastic resin that absorbs a laser beam. Contact surfaces 4 are melted with a laser beam so as to join the two members. At least the contact surfaces 4 of the two members are pre-heated by a pre-heating means 20 at a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the contact surfaces. The contact surfaces 4 are then irradiated with a laser beam R generated by a laser beam generator 10 that is shone from the side of the first member so as to melt at least one of the contact surfaces of the two members.

Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit for communication as a component of a radio communication system of a code multiplex system such as W-CDMA is capable of transmitting a signal without distortion even in an HSDPA mode and reducing current consumption by decreasing current in an amplifier in a normal mode. An amplification circuit in a transmission system is constructed in multiple stages, and a linear amplifier whose gain changes according to operation current is used as an amplifier in each of the stages. Information of a transmission mode and information indicative of the number of channels of data multiplexed is supplied from a baseband circuit to the amplification circuit in the transmission system. The gain distribution to the amplifiers in the multiple stages is controlled so that the total gain of the amplification circuit is held constant.

  • Publication number: 20060261902
Abstract: The capacitance of the capacitor with the constant capacitance is equivalently reduced in the capacitance of a resonant capacitor in a voltage control oscillator to increase the variable amount of the capacitance of the resonant capacitor, and to expand an oscillation frequency range.
