  • Publication number: 20050263881
Abstract: A miniaturized semiconductor device has a package substrate, a semiconductor chip mounted on the main surface of the package substrate and having plural LNAs each for amplifying a signal, an RF VCO for converting the frequency of the signal supplied from LNA, and an IF VCO for converting the frequency of a signal supplied from a baseband. A plurality of ball electrodes are provided on the back surface of the package substrate. The package substrate is provided with a first common GND wire for supplying a GND potential to each of the LNAs, with a second common GND wire for supplying the GND potential to the RF VCO, and with a third common GND wire for supplying the GND potential to the IF VCO. Abstract: A plasma display device disclosed herein is capable of enhancing the contrast of external light, facilitating application of phosphor paste on the bottom of each space surrounded by lattice-like barrier ribs, and reducing a variation in the amount of the phosphor paste applied as much as possible. The lattice-like barrier ribs include lateral ribs extending along a first direction while being nearly in parallel to each other, and vertical ribs extending along a second direction different from the first direction while being nearly in parallel to each other. Each of the lateral ribs is composed of two or more rows of rib elements. Notches for communicating spaces surrounded by the vertical ribs and the lateral ribs to each other in the first direction and/or the second direction are formed at least in portions of the vertical ribs and/or the lateral ribs.

  • Publication number: 20050179957
Abstract: When a facsimile data is received, a control unit causes the content of the facsimile data to be displayed on a display. The control unit causes a recording unit to print the content of the facsimile data on a recording sheet when a “Print” key is pressed down with the facsimile data displayed on the display while causing a forwarding method selection screen to be displayed on the display when a “To Forward” key is pressed down. The control unit causes a display urging the selection of the E-mail transmission of the received facsimile data, the transmission thereof to another computer and the transmission thereof to another facsimile apparatus to be displayed in the forwarding method selection screen on the display, and the facsimile data is forwarded by a forwarding method corresponding to the instruction given from an operator.

  • Publication number: 20050170754
Abstract: A method of forming fine partition walls by which fine partition walls with stable shape can be formed with good processing accuracy and at good grinding efficiency by a jet processing technique, a method of producing a planar display device by application of the method, and an abrasive for jet processing to be used in these methods, are disclosed. The fine partition walls are formed on the surface of a substrate, by jet processing using an abrasive comprised of a powder of calcium carbonate coated with silicone on the surfaces thereof. Each of the particles constituting the abrasive has a three-dimensional shape comprised of a stack of different-sized triangular or more-angular polygonal layers. The maximum particle diameter of the abrasive is not more than ½ times the width (W1) of the fine partition walls, and the mean particle diameter of the abrasive is not more than ? times the width (W1) of the fine partition walls. In addition, the maximum particle diameter of the abrasive is not more than 10 ?m.
