  • Patent number: 6534907
Abstract: A cathode ray tube comprising a panel portion that has a phosphor screen formed over the inner surface of the faceplate 1A. The faceplate 1A is formed such that the radius of curvature Ri of its inner surface 1A1 is almost equal to or larger than the radius of curvature Ro of its outer surface 1A2 and that the black matrix hole transmittivity is defined at a specified level. The cathode ray tube is provided with a simple means which allows the brightness in the peripheral area of the faceplate 1A to match the brightness in the central area and which, even when the deflection angle is large, can reduce the deflection voltage supplied to the deflection yoke and thereby reduce the leakage magnetic field from the deflection yoke.

  • Patent number: 6511283
Abstract: An electric fuel pump for supplying fuel by rotationally driving an impeller (30) within a pump flow path (13) with the aid of a motor section (3), wherein vane segments (31A, 31B) of the impeller (30) are staggered by a prescribed distance (d) at the front and rear and circumferentially of the impeller (30), guiding faces (31a, 31b) which extend from the sides of the end faces to the outermost periphery of the impeller (30) are formed in the staggered portions, and partitions (32) are provided between the a adjacent vanes (31), each of the partitions having guiding faces (32a, 32b) on the sides of the end faces of the impeller (30) and an outermost peripheral face (32c) located more inwardly than the outermost peripheral face (31c) of the vane (31). In such a configuration, the vane segments (31A, 31B) do not simultaneously collide with the end face (9b) of the radial sealing portion (9a) so that the noise due to fuel collision can be reduced and the pumping efficiency can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6322319
Abstract: Vane pieces (31) which are in an outer peripheral edge portion of an impeller (30) are divided into front and rear groups by a partition wall (32), and arranged in a staggered pattern, and outer peripheral faces of the vane pieces (31) are protruded toward the outer peripheral side with respect to the outer peripheral face of the partition wall (32). Therefore, fuel portions respectively entering vane grooves (33) which are divided into front and rear groups do not simultaneously collide against end faces (9b) of radial seal portions (9a). Consequently, the level of noises due to the fuel collision can be lowered. Furthermore, a reverse-flow region is prevented from being produced immediately above the partition wall (32). Therefore, the pump efficiency can be improved.
