Patent number: 6045893Abstract: A multilayered electronic part with minimized silver diffusion into ceramic body. The multilayered electronic part is produced by sintering a green ceramic body of a plurality of ceramic layers comprising a main phase and a grain boundary phase, at least one of the ceramic layers being printed thereon Ag-containing internal electrode patterns which may serve as markers for indicating several information such as a production number, a name of manufacturer, a kind of circuit, etc. By the production method of the invention, the diffusion of Ag in the internal electrode patterns into the ceramic body is effectively prevented to avoid the deterioration of the electrical characteristics as well as to avoid the blackening of the ceramic to ensure a high lightness of the ceramic body which enhances the reliability of the visual identification and distinguishability of the markers.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1998Date of Patent: April 4, 2000Assignee: Hitachi Metals, Ltd.Inventors: Hideko Fukushima, Naoyuki Satoh, Hiroyuki Itoh, Tomomi Ogawa

Patent number: 5983312Abstract: Data transferred from a host computer to a memory device is written into sectors whose addresses in a memory area are decoded by a decode table. Old data to be updated by the above data is erased or marked with erase flags. At a predetermined point of time, in order to create free areas, necessary data is evacuated to a primary memory media and unnecessary data indicated by erase flags is erased by a unit of predetermined memory size. Part of the memory media which has become defective is marked with a defect flag, and is replaced by an alternate area. In doing so, the decode table is rewritten to rearrange the memory area.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 1997Date of Patent: November 9, 1999Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Shinpei Komatsu, Yumi Ishii, Tomohiro Hayashi, Shogo Shibazaki, Hiroyuki Itoh, Masaru Takehara

Patent number: 5972772Abstract: An electron beam drawing process of high throughput, coping with the changes in static distortion and dynamic distortion of a lower layer exposure apparatus or an optical reduction exposure apparatus. At least two marks formed in each chip formed on a wafer are detected for a predetermined number of chips, and the relation between the shape distortion of each chip in the wafer plane and the wafer coordinates is determined from the positions of the detected marks and the designed positions of the marks by a statistical processing. Patterns are drawn in all chips while correcting the patterns to be drawn on the individual chips, by using the relation between the determined chip shape distortion and the wafer coordinates. As a result, the superposition exposure with the lower layer can be achieved with a high throughput and with a high accuracy without any manual adjustment.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 1997Date of Patent: October 26, 1999Assignees: Hitachi Ltd., Hitachi Instruments Engineering Co., Ltd.Inventors: Minoru Sasaki, Yuji Tange, Yutaka Hojyo, Kazuyoshi Oonuki, Hiroyuki Itoh

Patent number: 5888160Abstract: A load applied to the constituent member of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission is mitigated to thereby improve the durability thereof. During low speed running, a clutch for low speed is connected and a clutch for high speed and a clutch for backward movement are disconnected. During high speed running, the clutch for high speed is connected and the clutch for low speed and the clutch for backward movement are disconnected. During the high speed running, a torque is applied to the output side disc of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission. This torque becomes smaller as the transmission ratio as a whole is displaced to the high speed side. Correspondingly thereto, the load applied to the constituent member of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission can be mitigated.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 1997Date of Patent: March 30, 1999Assignee: NSK Ltd.Inventors: Shinji Miyata, Hisashi Machida, Hiroyuki Itoh

Patent number: 5870289Abstract: A structure for connecting an integrated circuit chip to a wiring substrate which implements high-density packaging, high-density connection, high-speed signal transmission, and low cost. An integrated circuit is connected to a wiring substrate by means of flip-chip die bonding using an adhesive film. A direct through-hole connection is formed directly below a connecting pad so as to pass through the adhesive film and the wiring substrate. This direct through-hole connection directly connects the connecting pad to the wire. As a result of reduced area and thickness of the chip, the chip is mounted in high density, and high-density inputs and outputs are implemented by means of minute two-dimensional connections. Short wire connections directly connected to the chip permit high speed signal transmission, and high reliability is ensured by the dispersion of stress. Low-cost packaging can be effected by simple processes and facilities.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 1995Date of Patent: February 9, 1999Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Masahide Tokuda, Takeshi Kato, Hiroyuki Itoh, Masayoshi Yagyu, Yuuji Fujita, Mitsuo Usami
