  • Publication number: 20240117312
Abstract: Forced expression of a handful of transcription factors (TFs) can induce conversion between cell identities; however, the extent to which TFs can alter cell identity has not been systematic ally assessed. Here, we assembled a “human TFome,” a comprehensive expression library of 1,578 human TF clones with fall coverage of the major TF families. By systematically screening the human TFome, we identified many individual TFs that induce loss of human-induced-pluripotent-stem-cell (hiPSC) identity, suggesting a pervasive ability for TFs to alter cell identity. Using large-scale computational cell type classification trained on thousands of tissue expression pantiles, we identified cell types generated by these TFs with high efficiency and speed, without additional selections or mechanical perturbations. TF expression in adult human tissues only correlated with some of the cell lineage generated, suggesting more complexity than observation studies can explain.

  • Patent number: 11956228
Abstract: A system and method for granting access to network resources through access credentials given to an agent process running on each computer or machine where resource requesters reside. The system extends a traditional token-granting authorization system to the agent processes, where each agent has administrative access to machine information. The agent uses that access to acquire detailed information about resource requesters. Requester qualifications defined by the system limit requester access to resources, and are enforced both by the agent and by the central system on the network resource server. Resource requesters ask for a token for resource use from the agent, not the central system. The agent uses its credentials to get a token from the central system and then return the token to qualified requesters.

  • Publication number: 20240114058
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for providing recommendations for sets of security operations for improving security of documents created or executed within an online document system. A supplier entity may select sets of security operations to be performed for a request provided to a signing entity. The online document system computes an aggregate measure of security for the selected sets of security operations and compares it to a threshold measure of security. If the aggregate measure is less than the threshold measure, the online document system uses a machine-learned model to identify additional sets of security operations that when added, results in an updated aggregate measure of security greater than the threshold. The additional sets of security operations are presented to the supplier entity for inclusion within a security operation workflow in combination with the selected sets of security operations.

  • Patent number: 11926346
Abstract: In various examples, a yield scenario may be identified for a first vehicle. A wait element is received that encodes a first path for the first vehicle to traverse a yield area and a second path for a second vehicle to traverse the yield area. The first path is employed to determine a first trajectory in the yield area for the first vehicle based at least on a first location of the first vehicle at a time and the second path is employed to determine a second trajectory in the yield area for the second vehicle based at least on a second location of the second vehicle at the time. To operate the first vehicle in accordance with a wait state, it may be determined whether there is a conflict between the first trajectory and the second trajectory, where the wait state defines a yielding behavior for the first vehicle.
