Abstract: A method for providing wireless telecommunications. The method includes providing a modular remote radio unit (RRU) capable of wirelessly transmitting data, placing the modular RRU on a boom truck with a boom arm, transporting the remote radio unit to a deployment location, setting the modular RRU on a structure at the deployment location by lifting the modular RRU off the boom truck with the boom arm, electrically coupling a power input of the modular RRU to a power source to power the modular RRU, and transmitting and receiving wireless data with the modular RRU unit after the power input is coupled to the power source.

Abstract: A light-emitting device includes a light generating portion including an active layer interposed between a first conductivity type layer and a second conductivity type layer. The active layer generates light. The light-emitting device further includes a light guide layer disposed on an optical path of light generated from the active layer. The light guide layer includes a textured structure on the optical path. The light guide layer can have a same conductivity type as the first conductivity type layer.

Abstract: In an example, a first testing device is configured to receive testing data from a second testing. The first testing device is configured to send a stimulus to a device under test. The first testing device obtains test data reception methods and test data reception formats that are compatible with the first testing device and translates the methods and formats into content that is readable by the second testing device. The content is received by the second testing device, which accesses test data transmission methods and formats compatible with the second testing device and defines an intersection of the reception and transmission test data formats. The second testing device sends the intersection of methods and formats to the first testing device, which reduces the intersection to a final method and format.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for performing authentication of user. The method includes accessing a user profile including a plurality of data fields corresponding to a user from a database. The method further includes determining at least one data field from the plurality of data fields. The method further includes identifying a plurality of relevant data points associated with the at least one data field from one or more data repositories. The plurality of relevant data points identified is based on a relevance function. The method further includes selecting a plurality of unrelated data points from the one or more data repositories. The plurality of unrelated data points is unassociated with the at least one data field. Method further includes generating one or more user authentication requests. The one or more user authentication requests are generated based on the plurality of relevant and unrelated data points.

Abstract: A railroad tie maintenance machine is configured to detect and seal spike holes in a railroad tie formed by the removal of railroad spikes. The vehicle includes a mothership vehicle and a shuttle cart that are connected by a tether. The shuttle cart is movable relative to the mothership vehicle. The shuttle cart includes a filler workhead having an imaging device, a light source, and an injection wand assembly. The imaging device is configured to take photographs or video beneath the shuttle cart while it travels along the railway. Using a computer vision system, the location of the ties and the spike holes in the ties are identified, after which the injection wand assembly is moved in lateral and longitudinal direction to overlie a spike hole. Thereafter, the injector can be inserted into the spike hole, after which a chemical solution is used to fill the spike holes.

The conductive cap is over the conductive bump. The passivation layer is over the semiconductor substrate and laterally surrounds the conductive bump, wherein the passivation layer has a top surface higher than the intermediary surface of the stepped sidewall structure of the conductive bump and lower than a top surface of conductive cap.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for video processing is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input video of one or more persons from a camera; detecting a sequence of human poses in the input video using an artificial intelligence (AI) based technique; selecting a proper pose from among multiple poses in a given frame of the input video, to generate a sequence of proper poses; detecting one or more key points in the sequence of proper poses; computing changes in coordinates of the one or more key points; computing a function of the changes in the coordinates of the one or more key points in the sequence of proper poses; counting a given user movement as a repetitive motion of an activity based on the function; and computing a plurality of statistics about the activity based on the counting.

Abstract: The subject application is directed to a variable-capacity storage container including: a bottom wall and a sidewall connected to an edge of the bottom wall, with the bottom wall and the sidewall being configured to enclose together an accommodation space for accommodating objects; and, an opening part, connected to a side of the sidewall away from the bottom wall. The sidewall is elastic. The opening part, when subjected to pressure, is able to be pushed and moved towards the bottom wall to deform the sidewall; when the sidewall is deformed, at least a part of the sidewall changes from a direction towards the outside of the storage container to a direction towards where the opening part is located. The variable-capacity storage container provided in the present application has an advantage of a simple structure, with high-capacity occupancy rate, volume variation rate, and ease of operation.

The waveguide (110) is provided with a core of higher refractive index material disposed on a substrate (204). The optical coupler (100) is used to couple light between an integrated optical waveguide (110) and an optical fiber (120) with high coupling efficiency. The optical coupler (100) comprises a first grating (104) having a first set of ridges (224) separated by a first set of trenches (220) and a second grating (108) having a second set of ridges (234) separated by a second set of trenches (230). The first grating (104) is formed in the core of the waveguide (110). The second set of ridges (234) are offset from the first set of ridges (224). A method for fabricating the optical coupler (100) is also provided.

Abstract: A method of allowing a user to scan products and obtain product recommendations based on the user's personal biological/genetic data, using a cartridge to perform a test on the data in conjunction with a test control system into which the cartridge is plugged. A user account is created and is associated with a cartridge ID that is read from the cartridge by the tablet and is also read using the wearable user device and passed via the test control system to a server when the wearable user device is coupled to the test control system. The test control system communicates test results to the server which analyses the test results to generate analysis results. The analysis results are then downloaded to the wearable user device via the test control system or some other channel. Product codes are also downloaded and stored to the wearable user device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for maintaining and building an autonomous vehicle-related event blockchain are provided. One or more processors may receive indications of autonomous vehicle events. The autonomous vehicle events may include information relating to technology usage and/or operational events. The autonomous vehicle events may be compiled into a log of recorded autonomous vehicle events. Based upon the autonomous vehicle events, an action to implement may be determined. Additionally, the log may be distributed to a public or private network of distributed nodes to form a consensus on an update to the log of record autonomous vehicle events. As a result, the distributed nodes may maintain an up-to-date record of the shared ledger of autonomous vehicle events.

Abstract: A memory array, a memory structure and an operation method of a memory array are provided. The memory array includes memory cells, floating gate transistors, bit lines and word lines. The memory cells each comprise a capacitor and an electrically programmable non-volatile memory (NVM) serially connected to the capacitor, and further comprise a write transistor with a first source/drain terminal coupled to a common node of the capacitor and the electrically programmable NVM. The floating gate transistors respectively have a gate terminal electrically floated and coupled to the capacitors of a column of the memory cells. The bit lines respectively coupled to the electrically programmable NVMs of a row of the memory cells. The word lines respectively coupled to gate terminals of the write transistors in a row of the memory cells.

Abstract: A closed-loop perfusion system may include a sealed biological culture container configured to house a biological cell culture, and a filtering unit that permits passage of waste products from an output of the sealed biological cell culture container, permits passage of nutrients from a nutrient media solution, and blocks passage of beneficial molecules from the output of the sealed biological cell culture container. The system may further include a first fluid path between an output of the sealed biological cell culture container and an input of the filtering unit, a second fluid path between an output of the filtering unit and an input of the sealed biological cell culture, and a pump to control the flow of media through the first fluid path and the second fluid path.

A first pull up transistor and a second pull up transistor are connected between a supply voltage node and the power node. A signal level detector circuit is connected to the second pull up transistor. The signal level detector circuit switches on the second pull up transistor when a remaining voltage on one of the first node and the second node is below a reference voltage.

A method may include receiving, by a first device, a user request to search for media titles based on user context data received by a first streaming media application; identifying, from a catalog of media titles and streaming media applications, the media titles based on the user context data; identifying an advertisement campaign associated with a second streaming media application; selecting, based on the advertisement campaign and the user context data, a first media title; selecting, based on the user context data, a second media title; generating first user interface data indicative of the first media title and second user interface data indicative of the second media title; and causing presentation of the first user interface data and the second user interface data using a user interface of the first streaming media application.
