  • Publication number: 20210020955
Abstract: The disclosure includes a platinum-based alloy catalyst and a preparation method thereof, a membrane electrode and a fuel cell. The method for preparing the platinum-based alloy catalyst comprises the following steps: (1) preparing nano-sized alloy particles of platinum and 3d transition metal; (2) carrying out acid treatment on the alloy particles prepared in step (1); and (3) annealing the alloy particles treated in step (2). The size of the platinum-based alloy particles is controlled, an atom number ratio of platinum to transition metal in the platinum-based alloy is controlled, and then etching and dissolution of acid is combined so that an atom number ratio of platinum to transition metal is further controlled, subsequently annealing is carried out at high temperature. The prepared platinum-based alloy catalyst improves the stability and durability of the platinum-based alloy catalyst, which supports the large-scale application of the platinum-based alloy catalyst in the fuel cell.

  • Publication number: 20200387818
Abstract: System and methods that provide a new paradigm for solving process system engineering (PSE) problems using embedded artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. The approach can facilitate process model building and deployment and benefits from emerging AI and machine learning (ML) technology. The systems and methods can define PSE problems with mathematical equations, first principles and domain knowledges, and physical and economical constraints. The systems and methods generate a dataset of recorded measurements for variables of the process, and reduce the dataset by cleansing bad quality data segments and measurements for uninformative process variables from the dataset. The dataset is then enriched by, for example, applying nonlinear transforms, engineering calculations, and statistical measurements.

  • Publication number: 20200329543
Abstract: An electronic device is for identifying a LED driver which is a switched mode power supply. For example the LED driver is part of an LED luminaire. An interface (24) is adapted to be coupled to a high frequency power commutation component of the switched mode power supply, for sensing the high frequency power commutation of the switched mode power supply in driving the LED. A mapping is made between identifications of LED drivers which are switched mode power supply and characteristics of the high frequency power commutations in driving the LED of a respective switched mode power supply. Thus, a LED driver which uses a switched mode power supply can be identified corresponding to extracted characteristics of the high frequency power commutations in driving the LED. This identification can be used for energy monitoring and fault diagnosis purposes, for use in a universal low cost LED driver.

  • Patent number: 10739752
Abstract: Computer-based methods and system perform root-cause analysis on an industrial process. A processor executes a hybrid first-principles and inferential model to generate KPIs for the industrial process using uploaded process data as variables. The processor selects a subset of the KPIs to represent an event occurring in the industrial process, and divides the selected data into time series. The system and methods select time intervals from the time series based on data variability and perform a cross-correlation between the loaded process variables and the selected time intervals, resulting in a cross-correlation score for each loaded process variable. Precursor candidates from the loaded process variables are selected based on the cross-correlation scores, and a strength of correlation score is obtained for each precursor candidate. The methods and system select root-cause variables from the selected precursor candidates based on the strength of correlation scores, and analyze the root-cause of the event.

  • Patent number: 10698372
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to systems that build and deploy inferential models for generating predictions of a plant process. The systems select input variables and an output variable for the plant process. The systems load continuous measurements for the selected input variables. For the selected output variable, the systems load measurements of type: continuous from the subject plant process, intermittent from an online analyzer, or intermittent from lab data. If continuous or analyzer measurements are loaded, the systems build a FIR model with a subspace ID technique using continuous output measurements. From intermittent analyzer measurements, the systems generate continuous output measurements using interpolation. If lab data is loaded, the systems build a hybrid FIR model with subspace ID and PLS techniques, using continuous measurements of a reference variable correlated to the selected output variable.

  • Publication number: 20200161739
Abstract: The invention provides an antenna structure comprising a plurality of wire segments formed in a loop. Connecting units are provided between the wire segments, each of which is switchable between a conductive state and a reactive state. With the connecting units in the conductive state a loop antenna is formed with a first (longer) signal range and with the connecting units in the reactive state an antenna structure is formed with a second (shorter) signal range. Said reactive state is adapted to introduce a phase delay between the adjacent wire segments. This enables the same antenna to be used for long range signal communication and short range communication, for example for system configuration or commissioning. The antenna structure may be used with luminaires of a lighting system.

  • Patent number: 10567967
Abstract: In embodiments of hardware verification with RFID-stored build information, a device includes hardware components and a wireless radio tag to store build information for hardware verification of the hardware components in the device. A bootloader can interrogate the wireless radio tag to obtain the build information and compare the build information to current information of the hardware components in the device. The bootloader can then determine whether the current information matches the build information. If the current information does not match the build information, then the build information for the hardware components can be stored in the wireless radio tag, and functionality of the hardware components in the device is limited.

Abstract: Provided is a Na—Y molecular sieve and a method for preparing the Na—Y molecular sieve, an H—Y molecular sieve and a method for preparing the H—Y molecular sieve, a hydrocracking catalyst, and a hydrocracking method. The average grain diameter of the Na—Y molecular sieve is 2-5 ?m, and the sum of pore volumes of pores in 1-10 nm diameter accounts for 70-90% of the total pore volume of the Na—Y molecular sieve. The H—Y molecular sieve obtained from the large-grain Na—Y molecular sieve can be used as an acidic component in the hydrocracking catalyst. When the hydrocracking catalyst containing the H—Y molecular sieve is applied in the hydrocracking reaction of heavy oils that contain macromolecules, it can provide better cracking activity and product selectivity in the hydrocracking reaction.
