  • Publication number: 20040149259
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling an internal combustion engine, in particular for regulating the speed of the internal combustion engine, are described. At least one first governor, specifies a first manipulated variable based on a comparison between a first setpoint value and an actual value. At least one second governor specifies a second manipulated variable based on a comparison between a second setpoint value and the actual value. The first manipulated variable is limited to a first manipulating range and the second manipulated variable is limited to a second manipulating range.

  • Publication number: 20040077458
Abstract: The method and apparatus (130) control a drive unit (30) with an internal combustion engine (35), so that changes of an output variable of the drive unit (3) during load change are limited. The method includes formulating a desired behavior of the output variable for the load change; changing the desired behavior of the output variable by changing an air supply of the internal combustion engine and forming at least a first preliminary value for adjusting the output variable by filtering the desired behavior according to an inertia of an air system for the air supply of the internal combustion engine.

  • Publication number: 20030228517
Abstract: An electrochemical element with thin electrodes in a housing formed from plastic sheets connected to one another. At least one of the plastic sheets is metallized in subareas on the side facing one of the electrodes. The metal layer forms an electrical contact with the electrode and forms an outer contact lug of the electrode. The plastic sheet may be a composite sheet with an inner metal sheet covered by a plastic sheet on both sides, and the metallization of the plastic sheet in the area outside the cell outline may be in the form of conductor tracks. In particular, the housing is formed from two plastic sheets which are sealed to one another and metallized on their side which points into the cell interior such that the metallization forms the electrical contact with the electrodes and forms the outer contact lugs of the electrodes and/or of the electrochemical element.

  • Publication number: 20030213120
Abstract: A method for producing a rechargeable button cell having a negative electrode composed of a lithium/indium alloy, a positive lithium/intercalating electrode and an organic electrolyte, a lithium layer and an indium layer are introduced into a negative housing half-section. The positive electrode material is introduced into a positive housing half-section. The two housing half-sections are beaded to form the button cell once the organic electrolyte has been added and a separator has been placed in between, with a seal being inserted between the housing half-sections. A lithium-indium alloy is formed from the lithium layer and the indium layer by storage or a subsequent charging/discharge cycle.

  • Patent number: 6650976
Abstract: A method and device for controlling operational sequences, in particular in a vehicle, a functional unit being connected to a bus system, the functional unit and/or the bus system being monitored by a monitoring unit, and the monitoring unit disconnecting, by an access operation, the connection of the functional unit to the bus system in a reliability case, the monitoring unit's access or operation being configurable by the functional unit so that the access path of the monitoring unit is interruptable by a configuration apparatus, arrangement or structure.

  • Publication number: 20030171905
Abstract: A method and an emulation device (1) are described for emulating control and/or regulating functions of a control or regulating unit (2), in particular of a motor vehicle. For emulation, the functions are swapped out into an external emulation computer (3), a data circuit (9) being produced before the beginning of the emulation via a software interface (12) of the emulation computer (3) and a software interface (13) of the control/regulating unit (2). In order to significantly accelerate the development and programming of new control/regulating functions of the control/regulating unit (2), the software interfaces (12, 13) are configured for the emulation of different control/regulating functions before the beginning of the emulation without changing the software.

  • Publication number: 20030154322
Abstract: An electronic system is described for program development having a control unit and a storage medium which contains an application program (1, 2). Access to internal data of the application program (1, 2) to be developed is possible via interfaces. To that end, access points are provided in the application program (1, 2). Also stored in the storage medium is a configuration program which contains data that describe the interfaces and are allocated to the access points.

  • Publication number: 20030037766
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling an engine are described. On the basis of a first variable which characterizes the injection quantity and a second variable which characterizes the angular position at which the injection quantity is metered, a third variable which characterizes the torque supplied by the engine is determined. Furthermore, on the basis of a fourth variable which characterizes the driver's intent, a fifth variable which characterizes the torque desired by the driver is determined. The third variable and the fifth variable are analyzed for the purpose of fault monitoring.

  • Publication number: 20020152007
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling a drive unit of a vehicle are described. Starting from the position of an operating element, a power determining signal may be preselected. The actuator element is controlled as a function of a filtered power determining signal. The signal is filtered with a filter having at least one high-pass filter and one low-pass filter connected in parallel. The filtering is performed so that the filtered signal has at least one corresponding pulse in a transition to a modified signal.

  • Patent number: 4513324
Abstract: Wide screen film frames are scanned in full width and in a first intermediate store a horizontal section of the frame is defined by a read-out start address and expanded by reading out at a lower speed. Only a part of the desired expansion is produced before the picture is stored for interlaced read-out in pairs of television fields. Thereafter the rest of the desired expansion is produced, with a further selection of the portion of each line to be viewed. Varying the read-out start address to shift the section of the picture to be reproduced in television form is done frame by frame in the first store and field by field in the second store and the two shift adjustments can be programmed in combination for smooth transitions.
