  • Publication number: 20180115934
Abstract: Disclosed aspects relate to access point selection. A set of beacon frame transmission data for a set of access points may be collected by a computing device. The beacon frame transmission data may include first and second subsets indicating respective frame success rates. The computing device may compare factors derived utilizing the respective frame success rates. The computing device may evaluate network capability data for the access points. The computing device may weight the beacon frame transmission data with respect to information indicating network security and encryption level have heavier weights than other factors, and identify that the first access point achieves an encryption level threshold. The computing device may use the beacon frame transmission data for the set of access points to determine to establish a connection utilizing the first access point. The computing device may establish the connection utilizing the first access point.

  • Publication number: 20180089340
Abstract: Embodiments relate to designing of integrated circuits using generation and instantiation of circuit stencils. The circuit stencil represents an abstracted version of the circuit segment. The circuit stencils include collapsed versions of the connectivity information of components and nodes of the integrated circuit. The collapsed version of the connectivity information is generated by analyzing functionality of the circuit segment and removing or replacing at least one redundant component or node of the circuit segment without modifying the functionality. The circuit stencil is used for instantiating or referencing components into a second integrated circuit.

  • Publication number: 20170249413
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an interactive routing of connections in a circuit where connections associated with an initial pin of a circuit element (e.g., a row of FinFETs) are replicated in association with at least one other pin of the same circuit element or a different circuit element in the circuit. The replication of connections may be performed intelligently by taking into account the mapping of pins as well as design rules or other restrictions imposed on the circuit. The connections may be in the form of trunks and branches, and are displayed as user inputs are received. A digital representation of the circuit with the connections as displayed is also generated.

  • Publication number: 20170249414
Abstract: A customizable routing system allows designers to create custom connection layouts that can be stored, turned into templates, reused, and further customized. The system describes designer-input custom connection layouts in terms of “structural directives” that specify its patterns and properties instead of using precise dimensions. Structural directives may describe particular connection patterns between structural components (e.g., backbone or fishbone), the placement, width, direction or layer of specific structural components, and properties of structural components relative to other components. These structural directives are implemented generally during routing, such as through design constraints, which allows the router to locally optimize the design (e.g., for cost or wire length) while considering the structural intentions of the designer.

  • Publication number: 20170172717
Abstract: A dental carrier comprises a thermoplastic carrier. The thermoplastic carrier has a pattern structure. After heating the thermoplastic carrier, the thermoplastic carrier is provided with a user to be impressed by teeth or alveolar ridge for forming teeth or alveolar ridge model of the user. Compared to the prior art, the dental carrier of the present invention can provide the dental medicament contained in the pattern structure to be precisely applied and hold onto the treatment area and the medicament can be evenly coated on the teeth, root, or periodontal tissue for the treatment of teeth. When the dental carrier is not used to carry medicament, the pattern structure can improve the mechanical strength and fitness of the dental carrier to be used as a biteplate, orthodontic retainer, periodontal dressing for treatment or protection or mouth guard in sports.
