    Abstract: A method of forming a FinFET is disclosed. The method includes depositing a conductive material across each of a number of adjacent fins, depositing a sacrificial mask over the conductive material, patterning the conductive material with the sacrificial mask to form a plurality of conductive material segments, depositing a sacrificial layer over the sacrificial mask, and patterning the sacrificial layer, where a portion of the patterned sacrificial layer remains over the sacrificial mask, where a portion of the sacrificial mask is exposed, and where the exposed portion of the sacrificial mask extends across each of the adjacent fins. The method also includes removing the portion of the sacrificial layer over the sacrificial mask, after removing the portion of the sacrificial layer over the sacrificial mask, removing the sacrificial mask, epitaxially growing a plurality of source/drain regions from the semiconductor substrate, and electrically connecting the source/drain regions to other devices.

    Abstract: A flexible hinge alignment mechanism of a high-power optical system is made of a flexible hinge, and may lead to a relatively weak region of the hinge to achieve elastic displacement or rotation under stress loading. Through movable actuators such as screws and springs, the area is precisely moved, and the function of accurate alignment is achieved. When the flexible hinge causes the structure to move relatively due to the applied forces, it must be ensured that the corresponding distribution of maximum stress needs to be below the yielding point of the material, thus ensuring the mechanism acts in a material's elastic region. The design is beneficial to optimize the design of the optical alignment mechanism.

    Abstract: A method of performing MT services using an indication to avoid barring in access control is provided. UE sends an indication related to an MT service to the NAS layer when the MT service starts, or when a corresponding communication session of the MT service is handover to 3GPP access. Once the service has successfully been set up, then as long as the service is ongoing, the following access attempts are allowed to proceed without further access control checking in order to avoid barring: MMTEL voice, MMTEL video, and SMSoIP. In one novel aspect, based on the indication provided to the NAS layer when the MT service starts or when handover to 3GPP access occurs, UE skips access control after UE goes to idle mode and establishes an RRC connection to resume the MT service.

    Abstract: In 5GS, Single-Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (S-NSSAI) based backoff (BO) timers (T3585) can be applied to either 3GPP access or non-3GPP access or both access based on a 5GSM congestion re-attempt indicator. When UE receives a 5GSM message over a specific access, UE needs to handle a current running timer. In one novel aspect, it is proposed that the UE stops the running timer applied for the same access which the message is received, and also stops the running timer applied for both access types. In another novel aspect, it is proposed that the UE stops the running timer applied for the access different from the access which the message is received when the UE starts a new timer applied for both access types.
