    Abstract: A metal oxide thin film transistor (TFT) includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer, a metal oxide active layer, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. The gate electrode is formed on a substrate. The gate insulating layer is formed on the substrate and covers the gate electrode. The metal oxide active layer is formed on the gate insulating layer. The drain electrode and the source electrode are formed on two opposite ends of the metal oxide active layer in a spaced-apart manner, in which at least one of the orthographic projection of the source electrode and the orthographic projection of the drain electrode on the substrate does not overlap the gate electrode.

    Abstract: A display system and a data transmission method thereof are provided. When a first frame stored in a frame buffer is identical to a second frame to be output from an audio and video (AV) source, the AV source is set an AV control signal corresponding to a self-refresh mode, and a timing controller reads the first frame to output a display data controlled by the AV control signal. When the first frame is differed from the second frame, the AV source is set the AV control signal corresponding to a data update mode and a AV data signal corresponding to the second frame, and the timing controller stores the second frame in the frame buffer controlled by the AV control signal and outputs the display data corresponding to the first frame or the second frame according the timing sequences of the AV data signal and the display data.

The method controls the concentration of the globular proteins and the adsorption time of the globular proteins from the aqueous solution to the air/liquid interface, so that the main conformation of the globular proteins in a protein monolayer can be changed into ?-sheet or ?-helix. Meanwhile, the protein monolayer having the conformation of ?-sheet or ?-helix can be vertically deposited and transferred onto a substrate for various applications according to needs. The present invention can change three-dimensional structures of biological molecules and remain original functions thereof without additionally using any physical/chemical treatment to change the conformation of the globular proteins.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus are provided for thermal management of mobile devices. In one novel aspect, a micro-throttle method is used to control the fast rising temperature for the device. In one embodiment, the thermal management method determines a temperature of the mobile device and compares the temperature with a plurality of predefined temperature thresholds. The thermal management applies a first micro-throttle solution upon detecting the temperature reaches a first predefined temperature threshold and applies a second micro-throttle solution upon detecting the temperature reaches a second predefined temperature threshold. In one embodiment, the first and the second micro-throttle solution control the slope of the rising temperature to be below a first predefined slope and a second predefined slope, respectively. In one embodiment, the temperature is controlled by adjusting the operating frequency or voltage of at least one heat-generating components of the mobile device.
