    Abstract: A rod cutter having two cutters that are exchangeable and with one thereof being operatively stationary and the other being pivotally and with cutting edges therebetween. A cover extends over the cutters so that access to the cutters is available, and they can be interchanged in their installed positions to reposition the cutting edges exposed to the rod. A ball bearing supports the pivotal cutter and it has an axial restriction for rendering axial support to the pivotal cutter. The method of cutting with both radial and axial cutter support is described.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method and apparatus with environmental noise cancellation. The instant disclosure is particularly adapted to a receiver module having at least two inputs. The two inputs respectively receive a main audio portion and the audio with majority of environmental noise. The system firstly calibrates the audio signals to reduce the error caused by the difference between the two inputs. An adaptive beamforming technology and a speech extractor are respectively used to extract the environmental noise portion with less main audio and the main audio portion with less noise. After a process of time-to-frequency domain transformation, a non-linear noise suppression technology is introduced into estimating the environmental noise and acquiring a gain. After noise suppression processed with the gain, a sequence of audio signals is output after a frequency-to-time domain transformation.

A sleeve member is slideable on the body, and has two sets of camming ramps and cylindrical surfaces extending radially over the balls for controlling the radially location of the balls relative to the tool.     Abstract: This invention puts forward a process of preparing butyl rubber. High gravity devices are used as polymerization reactor. The mixture of isomonoolefin and conjugated diolefin monomers and the diluent, and the mixture of the initiator and diluent are pumped at a certain ratio into a high-gravity reactor to conduct cationic polymerization in the high-gravity environment. After polymerization, the monomers and the diluent are removed from the product to obtain butyl rubber polymers with number-average molecular weight of 80000˜300000 and molecular weight distribution index of 1.9˜3.6. The high gravity polymerization method of this invention can tremendously intensify micro-mixing, mass transfer and heat transfer in the reaction. Compared to the conventional stirred polymerization method, this invention features small reactor volume, at least 30-fold shorter residence time of substances in the high gravity reactor, low cost, low energy consumption and high production efficiency.
