    Abstract: A method for fabricating a nanoimprint mold core is disclosed. The method includes providing a substrate; forming on the substrate an amorphous thin film, which is transformed into a crystalline thin film upon receipt of energy, the crystalline thin film having physical and chemical characteristics different from those of the amorphous thin film; applying the energy onto a predetermined region of the amorphous thin film, to transform the amorphous thin film within the predetermined region into the crystalline thin film; etching the illuminated amorphous film, which has crystalline mark on amorphous film, and at least partially removing the area of remained amorphous thin films; performing an imprinting process on the substrate, which has the etched amorphous thin films formed; and performing a molding releasing process on the substrate, so as to obtain the nanoimprint mold core.

A second satellite positioning module having a satellite data can be detected by the detection module via a wireless transmission protocol. The satellite data can be transmitted by the transmission interface to the first satellite positioning module from the second satellite positioning module. The satellite data can be used by the positioning module to implement a satellite positioning action.

    Abstract: A method for reducing dimension of an MEMS device. A single crystalline substrate having a diaphragm is provided. A first-step anisotropic dry etching process is performed to form an opening corresponding to the diaphragm in the back surface, the anisotropic dry etching stopping on a specific lattice plane extending from the edge of the diaphragm. A second-step anisotropic wet etching process is performed to etch the single crystalline substrate along the specific lattice plane until the diaphragm is exposed to form a cavity having a diamond-like shape.

    Abstract: A substrate is provided and a plurality of trenches are formed in the front surface of the substrate. Then, a thermal oxide layer is formed on inner walls of the trenches and the front surface of the substrate. Subsequently, a first structural layer is formed on the thermal oxide layer, dopants are implanted into the first structural layer, a second structural layer is formed on the first structural layer, and an annealing process is performed to reduce the stress of the first and second structural layers. Following that, the first and second structural layers are patterned to form diaphragms. Finally, the second structural layer is mounted on a support wafer with a bonding layer, and the back surface of the substrate is etched by deep etching techniques to form back chambers corresponding to the diaphragms. Each back chamber has a vertical sidewall and partially exposes the first structural layer.

    Abstract: A piezoresistive pressure sensor test sample is first provided, and a zero offset of the piezoresistive pressure sensor test sample is measured. Subsequently, a stress deviation corresponding to the zero offset is calculated. Thereafter, at least a piezoresistive pressure sensor under the same process condition as the piezoresistive pressure sensor test sample is formed. When forming the piezoresistive pressure sensor, at least a stress-adjusting thin film is formed on at least a surface of the piezoresistive pressure sensor to calibrate the zero offset of the piezoresistive pressure sensor.

The present invention only uses a little texture memory and can generate very fancy user interface display. With the method of texture mapping, even the low cost system can have a colorful, fancy user interface display. A user interface display apparatus using texture-mapping method, comprising a image module, texture patterns, display code-buffer, texture mixer and outline shape index generator to texture-maps the predefined image module in the mixing area with the texture patterns. For some existing OSD devices, the texture-mapping method also can provide a low cost approach to fancy the original OSD display output in the display device. Moreover, changing the texture pattern is very easy to system manufacture, and it can make the user interface looks good and different.

    Abstract: A thermal-chemical polishing device and method for polishing a diamond film of a workpiece, the device includes a horizontally displaced first rotatable high rpm shaft and a vertically displaced second rotatable high rpm shaft that are perpendicular. The first shaft is made of a material from transition metals or rare-earth elements which undergo a chemical reaction with the diamond film at high temperature. The circumferential surface of the first shaft has a predefined heating region. The second shaft moves axially towards the first shaft to allow the diamond film to make contact with the heating region of the first shaft. A heating unit is provided to heat up the heating region to create a chemical reaction for thermal-chemical polishing to perform while the diamond film is in contact with the heating region. The device of the present invention increases the rate of polishing and also decreases cost.
