Abstract: A circuit for controlling an AC-timing parameter of a semiconductor memory device and method thereof are provided. The AC-timing parameter control circuit includes a delay-time-defining portion, a comparing portion, and a controlling portion. The control circuit compares the pulse width or period of an input signal to one or more different reference-widths pulses, with the reference width(s) set by the delay-time-defining portion and the reference pulses generated by the comparing portion. The controlling portion indicates whether the input signal width or period was less than or greater than each o the reference-width pulses. The control circuit output signals can be used to tailor the operation of the device based on a direct comparison of an AC-timing parameter to one or more reference values.

Abstract: Genetic vaccine which comprises plasmid(s) containing genes coding for antigens of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) strains is disclosed. Additionally, plasmids may consist of multiple copies of the same antigen (i.e. K88 or K99 fimbrial antigen) or multiple antigens (ie. K88 and K99 fimbrial antigens) and genetic adjuvants such as cytokines (IL-2, IL-4 & GM-CSF), costimulatory molecules (CD80 & CD86) or chemokines or immunostimulatory sequences. A method for isolating antibodies from chicken egg yolk for passive immunization of animals, as well as humans to control diarrhoeal diseases using the genetic vaccines is also disclosed.

Abstract: A side impact bar assembly has a stopper pin engaged into pores to securely hold an auxiliary bar to a side impact bar. In a side impact an impact plate is pushed, and the stopper pin is disengaged from the pores. Then, the auxiliary bar projects outwardly through the end of the side impact bar by a biasing force of a spring, and the projecting end of the auxiliary bar is inserted into a center pillar outer panel through holes.
