  • Publication number: 20100031475
Abstract: A cooking vessel bracket and handle provides a first handle portion and a second handle portion each having opposing end portions, parallel spaced apart sides and a back defining a channel between the ends. First handle has handle flanges at first end portion and locking seat at second end portion. Second end portion of first handle and first end portion of second handle are pivotally interconnected for first handle to optionally fold into channel of second handle. Spring biased locking pin within channel of first handle protrudes from first handle between the handle flanges for releasable engagement with pot bracket carried by vessel and operatively communicates with a thumb slide for axial movement in channel. Spring biased handle lock in second handle channel releasably engages with locking seat of first handle to secure the first handle and second handle in extended end to end alignment for use.

  • Publication number: 20090313930
Abstract: Insulation sheeting (10) comprising two outer layers (11, 12) and a closed cell structure (13) bonded therebetween. The sheeting (10) is of a thickness which allows it to be disposed in a rolled configuration and also unrolled to assume a substantially flat configuration. The outer layers (11, 12) each comprises reinforced reflective aluminium foil. The closed cell foam structure (13) comprises flexible light gauge foam such as cross-linked LDPE foam. The outer surface of one of the layers (11, 12) is treated to provide some glare reduction while retaining heat reflective characteristics. Because of the closed cell structure (13), the insulation sheeting (10) can compress under load for fixing while still affording worthwhile insulation benefits. For certain applications, the insulation sheeting (10) may be perforated for air and water vapour permeability.

  • Patent number: 7344082
Abstract: A fully automated package identification and measuring system, in which an omni-directional holographic scanning tunnel is used to read bar codes on packages entering the tunnel, while a package dimensioning subsystem is used to capture information about the package prior to entry into the tunnel. Mathematical models are created on a real-time basis for the geometry of the package and the position of the laser scanning beam used to read the bar code symbol thereon. The mathematical models are analyzed to determine if collected and queued package identification data is spatially and/or temporally correlated with package measurement data using vector-based ray-tracing methods, homogeneous transformations, and object-oriented decision logic so as to enable simultaneous tracking of multiple packages being transported through the scanning tunnel.

  • Publication number: 20080026400
Abstract: Methods are described using a particular type of assay system, the Multi-Pathway High Throughput Assay, in conjunction with a novel experimental strategy, whereby repeated cycles of experiments result in the identification of the most effective synergistic combinations of potential active agents from a library of materials. The novel experimental strategy not only requires far fewer total experiments than would be required using conventional discovery strategies but also maximizes the probability of finding highly synergistic combinations through the principle of multiple-pathway intervention.
