  • Patent number: 11956728
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) supporting full duplex communications may determine that a set of downlink messages to be transmitted from a base station to the UE overlaps in time with a set of uplink messages to be transmitted from the UE. Accordingly, the UE may determine a downlink transmission power adjustment value for the set of downlink messages. In some examples, the base station may indicate the downlink transmission power adjustment value to the UE via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, a downlink control information (DCI) message, or both. The UE may transmit the set of uplink messages while simultaneously receiving the set of downlink messages with a transmission power that corresponds to the downlink transmission power adjustment value. Adjusting the transmission power for the set of downlink messages may reduce self-interference at the UE, the base station, or both.

  • Patent number: 11952873
Abstract: A washpipe free feature may include a housing defining a chamber having a bypass portion and a securing portion. The housing has first and second bores to put the bypass portion in fluid communication with an annulus of a wellbore and a central bore of a downhole tubular, respectively. Further, the washpipe free feature includes a magnet secured in the bypass portion, a ferromagnetic ball disposed within the bypass portion, and a piston disposed within the chamber. A distal end of the piston blocks the ball from contacting the magnet in a run-in position such that the ball may plug the first bore in response to fluid flow from the tubular toward the annulus. Additionally, the piston is slideable to an open position such that the magnet may hold the ball out of a flow path between the first bore and the second bore in the bypass portion.

  • Patent number: 11954145
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for image searching are described. Images comprising one query image and a plurality of candidate images are received. For each candidate image, a first model similarity measure from an output of a first model configured for scene classification to perceive scenes in the images is determined. Further, for each candidate image of the plurality of candidate images, a second model similarity measure from the output of a second model configured for attribute classification to perceive attributes in the images is determined. For each candidate image of the plurality of candidate images, a similarity agglomerate index of a weighted aggregate of the first model similarity measure and the second model similarity measure is computed. The plurality of candidate images based on the respective similarity agglomerate index of each candidate image are ranked and a first ranked candidate images corresponding to the searched images are generated.

  • Publication number: 20240111025
Abstract: In various examples, a deep neural network (DNN) may be used to detect and classify animate objects and/or parts of an environment. The DNN may be trained using camera-to-LiDAR cross injection to generate reliable ground truth data for LiDAR range images. For example, annotations generated in the image domain may be propagated to the LiDAR domain to increase the accuracy of the ground truth data in the LiDAR domain—e.g., without requiring manual annotation in the LiDAR domain. Once trained, the DNN may output instance segmentation masks, class segmentation masks, and/or bounding shape proposals corresponding to two-dimensional (2D) LiDAR range images, and the outputs may be fused together to project the outputs into three-dimensional (3D) LiDAR point clouds. This 2D and/or 3D information output by the DNN may be provided to an autonomous vehicle drive stack to enable safe planning and control of the autonomous vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240113850
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support resource restrictions for sub-band full duplex (SBFD) and dynamic time division duplex (TDD) operations. For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, control signaling indicating a restriction to one or more slots associated with communications between the UE and the network entity. Each of the one or more slots may be associated with one or more sub-bands and the restriction may modify an availability of a duplexing setting for at least a portion of the one or more sub-bands. Additionally, the UE may communicate with the network entity via at least a subset of the one or more sub-bands of the one or more slots in accordance with the restriction.

  • Publication number: 20240113833
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein relate to schemes for managing an overlap of at least part of a tracking reference signal (TRS) with an uplink subband or a guard band in a subband full duplex (SBFD) slot or symbol. In some examples, if a user equipment (UE) and/or a network entity determines that at least a portion of a TRS is scheduled for reception in an uplink subband or a guard band of an SBFD slot or symbol, the UE and/or the network entity may: drop the TRS, puncture the portion of the TRS that overlaps with the uplink subband or the guard band; or may shift the frequency position of the TRS such that the TRS is scheduled within the downlink subband(s) of the SBFD slot or symbol.

  • Publication number: 20240114500
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may implement a subband full duplex communication scheme. For a half duplex UE, each slot may be configured as either a downlink slot or an uplink slot. A half duplex UE may be scheduled with a transmission in a conflicting (e.g., opposite) direction with respect to the configured slot direction for the UE. The UE may determine whether to communicate a scheduled transmission in a conflicting direction of the configured slot direction in accordance with a conflict resolution scheme. A UE may receive scheduling information for a second transmission that is scheduled for the same direction as the slot in addition to the transmission scheduled for the opposite direction as the slot. The UE may apply the conflict resolution scheme to determine which transmission to communicate.
