  • Publication number: 20070091932
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing data in a Controller Area Network (CAN) are discussed. In an embodiment of this invention, dummy data is added to data to be transmitted via a CAN message, and information indicating that the dummy data is added is transmitted via the CAN message. A length of the dummy data is determined such that data to be transmitted via the CAN message becomes a predetermined length, and data in which five or more successive bits do not have a same value is added as the dummy data. The information is included in a field indicating a length of data to be transmitted via the CAN message, and is indicated by a value within a reserved range of the field. Accordingly, data processing efficiency can be improved, and flexible CAN communication can be performed via the CAN message.

  • Publication number: 20040124865
Abstract: Due to the test current and the test temperature of the wafer-level reliability depend on each other in those conventional arts, the result of electromigration etc is not sure cause of the test current or the test temperature and debases the reliability of the test result. In the present invention, the electromigration test and the stress migration test of the wafer-level reliability are independently controlled, respectively. Therefore, the cause of electromigration and the stress migration can be sure resulting from the test current or the test temperature respectively. Furthermore, the isothermal heater of the present invention not only can keep a whole test wafer at a more uniform test temperature, but also can offset the electromagnetism resulted from the current of the isothermal heater by the arrangement of circuits thereof for reducing the effect of the electromagnetism.

  • Patent number: 6659420
Abstract: A manual and automatic flow control valve includes a valve body, a manual control unit, a hollow pressure-releasing device, a middle plate, an upper casing, and an electric controlled magnetic unit. The internal of the valve body has a water inlet chamber and a water outlet chamber. A plastic main water flow valve is formed therebetween for isolating the two pressure chambers. A hollow pressure-releasing device is installed in a hollow portion of a main water flow valve. An upper side of the main water flow valve is a middle plate which is installed with an upper pressure chamber. The manual control unit can push the hollow pressure-releasing device to tilt. The electric controlled magnetic unit can control the hollow pressure-releasing device to communicate with the upper pressure chamber. If water drains from the lower pressure chamber, the water will push away the main water flow valve.

  • Publication number: 20020085379
Abstract: The invention is a surface light source generator that can provide surface light with a high luminosity and uniformity and a small dispersion angle. The invention uses the light emitting diodes (LEDs) for industrial standard light bulb packaging as its basis. By redesigning the shape of the LED elements (e.g., hexagonal pillars, quadrangle pillars or triangular pillars) and disposing a plurality of same type LEDs together, a surface type illuminator comprised of many closely packed LED elements is formed. Using the convergent effect of the convex lens on top of the LED elements, the light dispersion angle is controlled within 15 degrees. Such a technique of packing many LED elements together can increase the unit area luminosity of the surface light source generator and, at the same time, achieve a high luminosity and uniformity.

  • Patent number: 6163038
Abstract: A white light-emitting diode and a method of fabricating the same diode are disclosed. The white light-emitting diode is fabricated by epitaxy, which can produce two peaks in the spectrum at the P-N junction by appropriately adjusting epitaxial parameters such as temperature, pressure, NH.sub.3 flux and the ratio of H.sub.2 to N.sub.2 or the concentration of dopant, such as Mg or Si. The diode can thus radiate white light by adjusting the wavelength and the intensity of the principal peak in the two peaks. Further, quantum well structure can be formed in the diode. By appropriately adjusting the epitaxial parameters, the spectrum of the quantum well structures may have more than one peak. Therefore, white light can be generated by combining the light with wavelengths at two or three different peaks. The white LED can radiate white light itself and need not involve combining many LEDs, so that the cost and the difficulty of fabricating the white LED lamp can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6036056
Abstract: An automatic soap dispensing device, particularly a device which can be activated by photoelectric or infrared sensor via a control circuit, i.e., a motor reducing gear set in a drive device driving a drive wheel with a considerable torque at low speed so that an eccentric wheel on the drive wheel can push a squeezer set which in turn squeeze a soap hose to dispense liquid soap accordingly; and a micro switch is touched when the drive wheel is rotated to a certain angle to stop the motor, upon which the squeezer set returns its initial position by the inherent elasticity of the hose without any need to engage any gear with the reducing gear set and possibility of seizure between gears which may adversely affect operation of the soap dispensing device.
