  • Patent number: 11369355
Abstract: Devices, methods and systems are provided for occluding a left atrial appendage. In one embodiment, a medical device includes a cover portion and a foam anchor portion with a flexible member coupled therebetween. The cover portion is configured to be positioned over an ostium of the left atrial appendage. The foam anchor portion extends between a proximal end and a distal end to define a length and an axis defined along the length of the foam anchor portion. The foam anchor portion defines a curved external surface radially extending relative to the axis such that the curved external surface extends between the proximal and distal ends of the foam anchor portion. The foam anchor portion is configured to self-expand to provide an outward biasing force from the curved external surface such that a circumferential surface area of the curved external surface biases against tissue of the left atrial appendage.

  • Publication number: 20220185231
Abstract: A vehicle, system, and method provide determining whether a thermal risk exists for an occupant of a passenger compartment of a vehicle based on: identifying, via the temperature sensor, that the temperature within the passenger compartment is outside of a safe temperature range, identifying, via an electronic control module, that an engine of the vehicle is not running, and identifying, via the occupant sensor, that an occupant is in the passenger compartment. In response to determining that the thermal risk exists, a controller starts starting the engine via an ignition locking system, closes power-actuated windows of the passenger compartment, locks power-locked doors of the passenger compartment, and activates a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system of the vehicle via a climate control unit. The HVAC maintains the temperature of the passenger compartment within the safe temperature range to safeguard the occupant until return of a responsible party.

  • Patent number: 11356851
Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) communications system may include an RF transmitter having multicarrier transmitter circuitry that transmits frequency bands over a frequency range. A controller may selectively transmit real information over at least one of the frequency bands and selectively transmits fake information within the frequency range. The controller's operation is based on embedded machine learning model and real-time effectiveness feedback from built-in spectral analyzer. An RF receiver receives the real information from the RF transmitter.

  • Patent number: 11347555
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for maintaining an application through an execution platform. An example method generally includes receiving a first workflow definition of a plurality of workflow definitions associated with an application. The first workflow definition may be a workflow defining a build operation for building the application. The first workflow definition is executed to build the application by retrieving an executable binary from a binary repository, retrieving source code for the application binary from an application source code repository, building the application binary by executing the executable binary on the retrieved source code, and storing the application binary in the binary repository. A second workflow definition is received to execute the application. The second workflow is executed to execute the application by retrieving the application binary from the binary repository, and executing the retrieved application binary to run the application.

  • Publication number: 20220107863
Abstract: A method includes receiving first metrics describing first behaviors of applications having a fault, and second metrics describing second behaviors of an enterprise system in which the applications are executing. The first and second metrics are ingested. Ingesting includes assigning a first cardinality score to first metrics related to the fault. Ingesting also includes assigning a second, lower cardinality score to second metrics that are unrelated to the fault. Tumbling window processing is performed on the ingested metrics by sorting the first metrics and the second metrics into time slices. Each of the time slices includes a corresponding data structure for storing the data in the different time periods. Tumbling window processing is also performed on the ingested metrics by storing more data in the time slices for the first metrics having the first cardinality score relative to the second metrics having the second cardinality score.
