  • Patent number: 9521083
Abstract: Traffic differentiator systems for network devices and related methods are disclosed that determine difference packets from multiple packet streams. Some embodiments are configured to receive two streams of packets with one stream being a processed version of another stream and then to determine difference packets within a lookup time window that is, for example, associated with a processing time for the second stream to be a processed version of the first stream. Difference packets within a lookup time window can also be determined for packets received within a single combined stream of packets. Difference packets and/or related statistical information is then output for additional processing, as desired. The streams of packets can be associated with ingress and egress packets for a network device, and the difference packets and related statistical information can be used to determine packets that are removed, added, and/or modified by the network device.

  • Publication number: 20160354791
Abstract: A jet cartridge for jetting fluid material includes a body adapted to receive fluid material, and a fluid passage defined within the body and extending along a longitudinal axis thereof. At least a portion of the fluid passage extends obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis. The body is adapted to receive heat from a heating element and to transfer the heat to the fluid material flowing through the fluid passage. A method of jetting fluid material with a jet dispenser including a jet cartridge includes receiving fluid material into the jet cartridge, directing the fluid material through the jet cartridge along a longitudinal axis thereof and obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis, heating the fluid material directed through fluid cartridge to a target temperature, maintaining the target temperature as the fluid material enters a nozzle, and jetting the heated fluid material through the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 9511708
Abstract: A method and system are provided to image an external scene by employing a custom image sensor. The custom image sensor may use a GRRB array to filter the images of oncoming and preceding vehicle taillights captured by a vehicle camera. The method and system may also calculate a GRRB color metric for use in the custom image sensor by performing interpolation on a number of color channels, summing the brightness values for each of the color channels interpolated, normalizing each of the brightness values, and converting the normalized brightness values from an RGB scale to a linear scale of non-red to red.

  • Publication number: 20160322224
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for using single source organometallic precursors in the fabrication of polycrystalline Group III-Group V compounds, preferably semiconductor compounds. The present invention teaches how to select organometallic ligands in single-source precursors in order to control the stoichiometry of the corresponding Group III-Group V compounds derived from these precursors. The present invention further teaches how to anneal precursors in the presence of one or more flux agents in order to increase the crystalline grain size of polycrystalline Group III-Group V compounds derived from organometallic precursors. This helps to provide Group III-Group V semiconductors with better electronic properties. The flux layer also helps to control the stoichiometry of the Group III-Group V compounds.

  • Patent number: 9476677
Abstract: A KV-based missile defense system and method of strategic engagement provides performance improvement for both singleton and raid scenarios by launching multiple interceptors that place a follower KV in a trailing position with respect to a lead KV. Knowledge of the target cloud gained by the lead KV is transmitted to the follower KV and incorporated to inform the target selection of the follower KV. The follower KV trails the lead KV with sufficient spacing in time and distance to select a target and maneuver to engage the target pre-acquisition. This also allows the follower KV to receive and incorporate knowledge of target impact by the lead KV. This knowledge may be transmitted back to another follower KV and so forth in a “string” of KVs to inform target selection and down to the ground to inform strategic engagement. Updated non-KV observational data can be uplinked and transmitted forward along the string to the lead KV.

  • Publication number: 20160305160
Abstract: A retractor assembly for a cylindrical lockset comprises inner and outer retractors. Each of the retractors has a cam engaging surface to convert rotary motion from the inside door handle into linear latch-retracting motion. Inner and outer spindles having retractor activation cams are configured to bear upon cam surfaces of the inner and outer retractors to retract the latch. When the inner door handle is operated, the inner retractor acts directly upon the tailpiece of the latch bolt assembly to retract the latch. When the outer door handle is operated, the outer retractor presses on the inner retractor, causing it to retract the latch. If there is an attack, a blocker assembly engages with members formed in the outer retractor to render the outer retractor inoperative to move into a latch-retracting position without interfering with operation of the inner retractor to move into a latch-retracting position.
