  • Publication number: 20190101906
Abstract: An integrated circuit may include an embedded test processor that is capable of performing in-field testing and repair of hardware-related defects without having to remove the integrated circuit from the customer's board. The test processor can be used to drive and monitor test vectors to performing defect screening on input-output circuitry, logic circuitry including lookup table (LUT) circuits and digital signal processing (DSP) circuits, transceiver circuitry, and configuration random-access memory circuitry. The test processor can generate a failure mechanism report and selectively fix repairable defects via a hardware redundancy scheme. The failure mechanism report allows the customer to identify the root cause of failure in the overall system.

  • Publication number: 20180329384
Abstract: Situational-awareness controllers and methods to increase situational-awareness for an actor associated with a triggering event are described. An example method includes in response to receiving a notification of a triggering event generated by at least one sensor, a computing device accessing information that includes related to an actor associated with the triggering event. The computing device correlates the information to a compilation of historical information by (i) determining whether the actor's location is associated with one or more safety events stored as part of the compilation of historical information and (ii) determining a risk level of the actor based on whether the one or more associated safety events occurred within a predetermined range of time from the time associated with the triggering event. The computing device generates a command based on a result of the correlating and sends the command to at least one controllable device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for increasing situational awareness for a tool operator and an individual approaching a working field of the tool are described. An example method includes activating a first device, where the first device has a working field and has an operational path configured to intersect a barrier. A proximity sensor of the second device then detects a presence of an object in a sensor zone of the second device. The second device transmits a wireless signal to the first device indicating the presence of the object in the sensor zone of the second device. Then at least one of the first device and the second device issues a first alert indicating the presence of the object in the sensor zone of the second device.

  • Publication number: 20180330574
Abstract: A system has a database that stores a plurality of audio/visual clips. Further, the system has a memory device that has a buffer with a threshold quantity of memory blocks. In addition, the system has a processor that receives the plurality of audio/visual clips in an ordered sequence for a virtual sports game. The processor also writes one or more frames of a first audio/visual clip to the buffer. Further, the processor allocates the threshold quantity of memory blocks such that the processing speed of writing one or more frames of a second audio/visual clip to the buffer is faster than a broadcast frame rate for broadcasting the first audio/visual clip. In addition, the processor writes the one or more frames of the second audio/visual clip to the allocated threshold quantity of memory blocks of the buffer.

  • Patent number: 10095709
Abstract: A software and hardware facility persistently maintains metrics on directories at different levels within a tree of a filesystem. The facility hierarchically aggregates attributes of files contained by directories and stores them as metric values in each directory within a tree. The stored values represent summed or otherwise aggregated data from the descendant directories and files. The metric values represent aggregated attributes such as checksums, MIN and/or MAX aggregates, sameness bits, bloom filter aggregates, queryable user tags, moving average aggregates, b-tree aggregates, etc. The facility provides mechanisms for efficiently sampling activities performed by the filesystem and visually representing these activities.

  • Publication number: 20180285478
Abstract: Systems and methods for using graph databases to make digital content recommendations are described. A graph database may be associated with tagged digital content. The graph database may include a node for each content tag and edges identifying a relationship between nodes. When a user accesses or searches a digital content item, the graph database may be traversed to identify and present related content recommendations to the user based on the traversed nodes. Node graph traversal may initiate from a root node associated with a tag of content item being presented to a user. Nodes may be searched based on their proximity to the root node as determined by edge connections of the graph. Initially searched nodes may include nodes in the graph database directly connected by edges to the root node. Subsequently searched nodes may include nodes one edge connected removed from the root node, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 10063474
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for parallel match processing of network packets to identify data for masking or other actions. In part, the disclosed embodiments receive packets and identify packet data, such as sensitive data, by rapid parallel matching of packet data being communicated in multi-byte wide data paths to match parameters in order to generate match vectors. The match vectors are then used to generate control vectors that are subsequently used by packet processing circuitry to perform desired actions for this packet data (e.g., mask data) and/or for related packets (e.g., drop packets). For example, data identified through the match processing can be masked, and control vectors can be mask control vectors applied to parallel multiplexers. In certain embodiments, the parallel data multiplexers are controlled by the mask control vectors to selectively output either original packet data or mask data that obscures original packet data.
