  • Publication number: 20100207335
Abstract: A tool includes a handle and a chuck. The chuck includes a socket, a sleeve located on the socket. The socket includes a recess, an aperture in communication with the recess, chutes in communication with the recess, and a groove in an external side. The sleeve includes front, middle and rear shoulders on an internal side. A C-clip is located within the groove. A first stopping ring is abutted against the front shoulder. The C-clip is located between second and third stopping rings. A small ball is located in the aperture of the socket and restrained with the front shoulder. Large balls are movably located in the chutes. A pushing ring is located against the large balls. A first elastic element is compressed between the second stopping ring and the pushing ring. A second elastic element is compressed between the third stopping ring and the rear shoulder.

  • Publication number: 20100064865
Abstract: A hand tool includes a shank having a first end provided with a drive portion and a second end provided with a handle portion, and an antislip structure including an antislip member mounted around the handle portion of the shank. The antislip member of the antislip structure includes a bonding glue bonded onto an outer surface of the handle portion of the shank and a woven wool layer mounted on a surface of the bonding glue. Thus, the woven wool layer of the antislip member has a high friction, so that when the antislip member is mounted on the handle portion of the shank, the handle portion of the shank has a greater antislip feature, thereby facilitating a user holding the handle portion of the shank.

  • Patent number: 7661526
Abstract: A toolbox includes a shell, a holder and a cover. The shell includes two grooves defined therein and two inclined faces formed thereon near the grooves. The holder is disposed in the shell and formed with a plurality of holes for receiving bits. The cover includes two lugs extended from a side thereof and two blocks each formed on a related one of the lugs and formed with an inclined face. The blocks are movably disposed in the grooves so that the cover can be moved relative to the shell. When the cover is moved away from the shell, the cover can be pivoted relative to the shell so that the inclined faces of the blocks are located against the inclined faces of the shell, thus limiting the pivoting of the cover relative to the shell.

  • Publication number: 20090224492
Abstract: A bit connector includes a tubular member having a polygonal hole for receiving a screw bit. A first hole and a second hole are defined radially through a wall of the tubular member, wherein the second hole communicates with the polygonal hole. A pin movably extends through two slots defined through the wall of the tubular member. A first bead and a second bead are received in the first and second holes respectively. A sleeve is mounted to the tubular member and includes a tapered inner wall so as to press the second bead to contact against the screw bit. An end piece is mounted to the tubular member and engaged with an end of the sleeve. A spring is biased between the end piece and the pin. The end piece includes two recesses and the-first bead is engaged with one of the two recesses.

  • Publication number: 20090095138
Abstract: An insulating screwdriver includes a handle, a drive shank having a first end mounted in the handle and a second end protruding outwardly from the handle, an insulating jacket mounted on the second end of the drive shank, and an identification insulating sleeve mounted between the second end of the drive shank and the insulating jacket. Thus, when the insulating jacket is worn out or broken due to friction or hit, the identification insulating sleeve is still located outside of the drive shank to provide a secondary insulating effect to the drive shank so as to protect the user when operating the drive shank.
