  • Patent number: 9674662
Abstract: A mobile data analysis system is provided that enables mobile device location tracking, secure messaging, and real-time sharing of intelligence information, among other features. In one embodiment, a method and apparatus is provided for creating data objects from one or more digital images captured by a mobile device. A computing device receives a first digital image file comprising first image metadata, wherein the first image metadata includes one or more image properties each having an image property value. The computing device transforms one or more of the image property values of the one or more image properties into one or more particular values. The computing device populates one or more data object property values of a data object with the one or more particular values. The computing device stores the data object in a data repository.

  • Patent number: 9275069
Abstract: A system and method enable an information analyst to use a stand-alone computer-based investigation application to conduct a disconnected investigation on shared database data in a remote location where network access to a shared data repository of the system might be only periodically available, unreliable, or non-existent. In addition, the system and method enable the disconnected investigation to incrementally incorporate ongoing updates made to the shared repository of data, and to periodically publish interim or final results of the disconnected investigation to the shared data repository. A disconnected investigation can be conducted entirely at the disconnected investigation location without having any network connectivity to the shared repository of data.

  • Patent number: 9037212
Abstract: A bi-directional communication system (12) is utilized for communications between a technician at an imaging workstation (18), from which imaging protocols can be conducted and at which diagnostic images can be displayed, and one or more hospital medical professionals, located at remote locations. The technician selects and addresses the proper medical professional by a use of an addressing means (50) at workstation (18). The technician selects images (42) to be sent to the selected medical professional. The images and medical professional's address are formatted (46) into wireless transmission format via transmitter/receiver (44) coupled to the workstation (18). A plurality of remote transmitters/receivers (62) receives wireless transmissions at remote locations. Each wireless transmission is examined (68) for a correct address and further converted (70) into an appropriate format for human-readable display.
